Borderlands 4 is Looking CRAZY!

UH-OH...

The what I assume are the vault hunters look uninspired and boring. They're a generic character that you'd find in sanctuary. They're also clearly going with the dei designs because these aren't cool at all and seem like someones fantasy of themselves.

the movement and gameplay looks cool and the grappling will be epic but it all looks a bit too marvel-ish to me. the series seems to have become a lot more sanitised and like every other bit of media releasing nowadays and the visuals look too clean and AAA as well. The siren looks cool but otherwise the vh designs are quite mid but I reckon it'll still be great fun to play bc it's borderlands

At least with the FPS, you don't have to look at the Vault Hunters too often, everything else looks amazing and the VH look like the dullest most forgettable characters in the game. I love the grappling hook part

The vault hunters look pretty bland, but I know we’ll have head cosmetics and skins and probably body cosmetics all around I really only care for the gameplay and it looks insane

Borderlands 4 is looking horrible. The cinematic doesnt even look like borderlands without the psycho masks,
and the gameplay is litterally just copy pasted from borderlands 3.

their(VH’s) over designed and under designed the characters feel cluttered with nothing i see a lot of people calling it woke like that’s the issue? it’s not it’s their outfits that’s are the main issue

I hope that Ava died and the siren powers went to someone evil. And the playable siren could be the 6th or something

I wondered if that siren was ava. Doesn't look exact but I feel it's still a possibility

I want the next villain in the franchise to be a Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Charlemagne, Ceaser, Trajann, Saladin esk character named General Unitatem Concordia (aka General “unity” “live in harmony” in Latin) or something like that. Someone who wants to unite the wastelands and bring peace and harmony to it by conquering and subjugating it.

We come to blows with him and fight against him. But as we do, we come to learn of his backstory. As a child the warbands and vault hunters destroyed his home killed his parents and violated him and others before taking them as slaves. As a slave he worked up to be a general in the warlords army before killing and usurping him. Now he seeks to create a Pandora where people don’t have to live in fear that what happened to him will happen to them. Additionally he treats his underlining a well and as family. And despite being a tyrant he is very fair and benevolent for a warlord.

Eventually we come to face him, and after seeing the kind of world he rules, a place where you don’t need to kill everyone you meet, we are given a choice… Join him a create a Pandora where true peace and exists at the cost of what makes the planet “fun”, or fight and let Pandora remain a hell hole no sane person would ever want to live in. All you lose is anarchy type freedom the games are known for in exchange for lawful order if you join. If you resist, all the other factions immediately turn on each other to fill the power vacuum as the Generals last words are “ Congratulations, you condemned us all forever.”

United Pandora, or Lawless wastelands, being ruled by planet wide military dictatorship vs local warlords, a unified world free of psycho marauders vs a divided hellscape where you live in fear… Lawless freedom or Peaceful tyranny, which is better?

Now that I think of it, he wouldn’t be the villain, he’s straight up the good guy.

I think the big issue with bl4's vault hunter designs is that none of them are particularly weird. bl1 had brick with his cartoon strongman proportions and mordecai with his goofy balaclava, ponytail and goggles combo, bl2 had zer0 being this lanky faceless alien freak and salvador and krieg being... salvador and krieg. blps had wolfgang the cyborg freak and claptrap. bl3 had fl4k, a cyclops robot in an oversized hobo-coat and moze with her cartoonishly oversized soldier bucket-helmet. all the bl4 vault hunters are just kind of normal conventionally attractive people in either cool or fashionable outfits
