This dude built the pyramids for sure
ОтветитьIf you built the floor first, then you'd be able to built the rest much faster, so less risk of rain. Also less risk of hurting yourself.
ОтветитьCan’t remember the last time I hammered a nail! Been building projects with glue & screws 4 years! No glue if U wanna b able 2 take it apart! 👍
Ответитьmans really built his own trusses AND hung them too... jeez
ОтветитьNo Engineering neeeded?
ОтветитьDollar signs in the wrong spot
Ответитьfun to watch thank you.
ОтветитьFantastiskt inspirerade video! Väldigt bra tekniker som jag tar med mig! Tusen tack!
ОтветитьSorry - but water resistant flooring with a 300 day exposure guarantee has been around for 30 YEARS! Building without a floor is really one of the most misguided, dangerous, false economy things I have witnessed in my 43 years of construction!
ОтветитьThat is how ya do it. I framed up a house in Colorado, but it took me longer then 7 days. And not that good of wood.
ОтветитьThinking about technically walls build must be sitting on fly wood completed flooring…..
ОтветитьThis is skill, and he’s definitely a footballer you can tell
ОтветитьWhy isn’t episode 1 showing up?
ОтветитьWhy arent you allowed to build a two story?!
ОтветитьWhy are you not allowed to build a 2-story house in your location?
ОтветитьEverything's looks great but I never see securing the entire house to the block base, the whole house not secure to the ground, How if there is a strong storm?
Ответитьone thing I think is good. do it yourself it save a lot of money, and you can do it step by step. no bank no interest. but what tiny beams are used almost plywood.
normal floors have bigger beams and and more stable.
also for the walls. i would just use the concrete blocks and just continue to build up. one big storm and your house is gone like always in the usa news. around here are german concrete/beton bunkers still standing like they were brand new. woodenhouses ........i don't think the best idea.
but it is nice you made this video, to get people thinking. ( at least i hope )
Built my house by myself. Mostly in the winter from10 below to 20 below zero F. After enough experience of doing everything by yourself you can get a lot more done than having most people "helping." And most people would never think of making a long wall in sections as they learn only one way everything is to be done and can't think of another.
ОтветитьCool video. But you should really build that diaphragm and put the walls on top of it. Not the other way around. Your building will have some bad weak point there. Might move, crack or rupture during heavy winds.
ОтветитьHere in the USA in some states this is totally illegal as you are required to have a license in other states its totally legal but highly discouraged as mistakes can get people hurt or killed years down the road when something fails. In my state all pluming and electrical work must be done by a licensed contractor everything else you can do your self.
ОтветитьWhat trust number do you have to put them all up there at once? because you can't swing them up there tell the end you gonna have to put a bunch of them at one time.
Ответить우와ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ
이 영상은 정말 내가 찿던 것이다!
멋집니다!
Outstanding effort, thankyou for posting
ОтветитьI wish I was Swedish.
Ответить. Am about to start to build mine one and am looking for moee details like how did you attach the wood to the blocks and much details which you show but far.. t. You did a awesome job
ОтветитьTerrible voice over
ОтветитьAmazing work!
ОтветитьIncredible work!
ОтветитьIt's fun to see that you don't build the subfloor before putting walls up. Haven't ever seen that before.
Ответитьthat actually helped allot. i have been thinking about building my own house, but was struggling to figure out how to build/ place my own roof. i eventually would have figure it out, but probably after many man many hours of frustration and getting... well lets just stop there haha. thanks for the video. super helpful!
ОтветитьGreat job! What is the size of this house?..I can't really tell 20 x 40 ft?
ОтветитьI don t know Sweden but here in Romania is a lot of bugs happy to eat unprotected wood would’nt it better to treat that wood prior to install ¿
ОтветитьThis gentleman is good...I am starting stud walls this week..solo..the top plate header type thing is so level..I need level
ОтветитьThis is absolutely awesome in my opinion. Now if they taught everyone in schools how to build homes we’d all be able to do it and live our lives without massive mortgages. This video is very inspiring, too bad I don’t have the know how….
ОтветитьPut down sheeting for floor first liverlips
ОтветитьIts not framed even half way done. framed house has sheeting on it. I see plenty of things you have not done that should been done, 1 thing is the center trim board is useless and a hassle to install piping and other stuff, no sill gasket, so many things done wrong I would not even put a video of it. To get in the basement what walk outside and make a stair hole going down. Code wise the floor joist are installed wrong, there is suppose to be 4 inches of joist on beam.
ОтветитьYour amazing buddy.
ОтветитьThank u sir
ОтветитьU are good construction worker
I wish l build my own home
I'm thinking of doing similar out here in Wyoming when I get the opportunity. :+ )
ОтветитьWait, what’s a capillary breaking layer? …I just started this video.
ОтветитьNot only they are good at making cars 🚘 but even better in making houses
ОтветитьI have watched dozens of house buildings related videos, yours is by far the best. The video editing, the clear description, and the building methods. Especially, the truss setup section, which was a very clever way. I was a building contractor 20 years ago so I built many projects all by myself after retirement, my latest project was installing solar panels system all by myself. You have outdone me by miles. I am going to watch all of your videos. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWaauw very impressive
ОтветитьSeriously impressive
ОтветитьEres el mejor
ОтветитьIs this the new mechanical voice? Weird!
ОтветитьCool simple well done more videos please
ОтветитьI have many times regretted that I didn't learn a trade when I was younger. Watching this video at the same time as I'm "framing" my own house in Sketchup Free has been a huge learning experience for me. Thanks for taking the effort to share your experience as a craftsman as well as tricks of the trade! It's really invaluable information for people who are interested in learning a trade. You are building almost identical to how it's done in Norway. I haven't seen the hammer band used before, but it makes sense from an engineering standpoint. I believe a double top sill plate is the standard in Norway, but then again I'm not an expert.
Ответитьand here i thought you had to put in the subfloor first.I guess everything works as long as the house dont fall over.
