I’ve been seeing so many diff ways to do drums but I’ll def give this one a try! I currently have sampler instruments set up with all kicks, claps, snares, hats etc in one instrument and using the step sequencer with it lately but this looks very intuitive!

Is it a trap or a Logic tutorial? You act like you never played with step sequencer in FL Studio, which was invented 20 years ago)

I can’t wait for them to allow you to upload all of your outside samples into the daw. You do have the option but it’s where you do it by clicking export and then add to loop library. It be so much easier to be able to go to sound library and uploading all the outside samples from there. But they don’t have that option. It be very convenient and so much easier on us to be able to do that.

Where did u get all those drum sounds to load them up into the sequencer thing? Once u do that can U use ur own beat machine and create the beats yourself sometimes instead of drawing them into the sequencer?

any advice for cool drum kits?

I hit a roadblock. When I hold Ctrl and click the area I wanted the pattern, I don’t see the option to “create pattern region” I only see create empty midi region.

I’m using logic 10.4

When you drop samples to the DMD every icon is green , when I drop it only the first sample for example the kick is green and everything else I drop does not turn green and also I can't play the dmd samples with my midi keyboard. if u can shed some light on my problem I would appreciate it.
