How to use MultiMC and fix Java 17 issues

It is really stupid I needed to download an older version of java, but at least it works.

I've downloaded 3 types of java 17 and 1 type of java 18 and none of them are being auto detected. Even when I put them in manually, it says that it doesn't work. Can anyone help me with this?

I have found out that sometimes the reason could also be that you are on an older version of forge or java so changing java from 17 to something else could also work, or at least it did for me.
