i have a digital piano and its USB midi. It works fine for playing sounds through my computer (using Studio One for DAW). BUT, I want to use some of the keys to trigger events like record, rewind, play, stop, etc. I cannot figure out how to do this, please help if you can. Thanks.

I tried midi to usb and usb cables but I can't play more than one note at the same time and it has a 3-5 sec cooldown between notes when I try to use on reaper, I don't know if is because my piano is too old (it is a Clavinova clp 340) or something else. Is there something I can do to make it work properly?

Do i need to install some drivers coz my computer is recognising ?

Hey man, great video, thank you! I wanted to ask you if it’s possible to play REAL-TIME different sounds than what FP-30X provides via VST into a DAW for example. I am sure there are better sounds out there than what FP-30X has available, that’s why I am looking into this. Lastly, will the audio be output from the monitors connected to the computer or do the monitors have to be connected to the FP-30X directly?

Maybe someone will see this. HELP. 😂 I have a Yamaha P-35, I already had that exact cable but I have a M1 Mac. I downloaded Yamaha driver, have plugs set, have a usb to usbc connected.

When I first started it works but then when I try to create a new track it does not. I’m not sure which track I would try to create external midi with what boxes checked bc I’ve tried about everything.

Thanks for advice. I connected my digital piano Yamaha P125 via usb cable, it shows on Logic Pro, can play vat instrument but I also hear digital piano, when I slide volume down on my piano then also I don't hear vet instrument on Logic pro, how to fix this problem?

I connected my keyboard to my DAW, but when I turn down the master volume on my keyboard, the volume on the DAW turns down as well. How do I fix this?
