I have no problem believing John survived the shooting without mortal wounds. That fall? Not so much.

There is just physically no way that he could survive after this

Love Winston and his no-nonsense attitude. Not oppressed by "The High Table" or anyone else, an ethical manager, a loyal friend and knows how to bluff. If he wanted John dead he could have shot him in the head. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick were masters in their roles. They sure know how to manage a hotel.

Looking at this 5 years later, I suddenly realized that this is the last scene that John would be seeing Charon in person, and also alive. Both Charon and Lance Reddick are dead 😢😢😢😢. RIP to both of em.

Most unrealistic thing about these movies is that john survived that fall. He didn't even get crippled.

I know it's insane he survived this, but think about it. He was probably wearing a bulletproof vest and the fall wasn't that far. John Wick is still mortal. If he went through all the stuff Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees went through he would've been dead

I like how Winston shoots John in his bullet proof suit in areas he knows are bullet proof. Intentionally cause he knows John will survive the fall. I also like how the front desk guy knows Winston’s plan as he does it. And says well played sir.

When I first saw that scene, I did not see that coming

I initially thought the scene had been staged for the Adjudicator and that John had choreographed the fall. I mean he kind of jumped since I think he was still wearing the bullet proof clothes and Winston only shot him in the body not the head so that couldn't be expected to kill him. I was very surprised that wasn't the case.

There is no policeman exists....

The armor most likely protected his fall since when he went down he rolled as smacked it against the metal he for sure broke his back and ribs and a few other bones but it’s definitely possible to survive that fall if it didn’t hit any vital parts

John should’ve killed Winston when he had the chance

I don't exactly see how anyone could stand up after impacts like that. Bit John Wick being how strong he is, just tends to walk it off. Also agree that Winston didn't betray John, but he probably couldn't find a way out of that situation. John Wick chapter 3 is one of the better movies I've seen in a VERY long time.

Why i think john wick managed to survive that fall

The first fall was seemingly 3 meters high which is resistable for some people without injury , john wick got a huge endurance , strength and also his suit is just like an armor which could decrease the fall damage somewhat , second fall was also on the armored suit which also saved him from paralysis , and the last fall was also on the vest , in fact that metal thing looked a little weak which can also decrease the fall damage , let alone that john wick was getting hit and bounce back and forward which will also decrease the fall damage in physics because it slows him down
