I can understand the family being upset but, the parents knew that the goat was gonna get eaten so, why didn't they just get a pet goat instead? It's not even wrong to eat a goat either. The Bible says that any animal that has split hooves and chew the cud, we're allowed to eat them. And what features do goats have? They have split hooves and chew the cud. So, it's not really wrong to eat 'em. I know the family is frustrated from all of this but, gosh dang dude.

They made it clear what the rilesxwrre, they made it clear the goat would have to be sold.
Farmers and ranchers hold to a cidebof avoiding becomming emotionally attached to live stock animals.
Maybe the girls parents should have told her not to treat the goat as a pet.
