I grew up listening to this fellow Scouser. What talent. I loved ALL his music and he will always have a special place in my heart, as well as my wife's, of 53 years.

Great crooner and extra handsome!! sigh So sad we didn't know of Billy in America. I guess we had a very crowded field of teen idols back then. Imo the music industry played favorites, and still does.

A true original, and a really nice bloke. I first saw him in 'That'll be the Day" in 1973. He's always been a favourite of Rock & Roll fans, but although his music was at times rockabilly, he was an excellent ballad singer
