A short transmission line with sending end voltage and current phasors (VS and IS respectively), receiving end voltage and current phasors (VR and IR respectively), receiving end power factor cosφ, lagging and sending end voltage load angle is “δ” assuming receiving end voltage phasor is the reference. (i) Draw the circuit diagram of the line; (ii) Sketch the phasor diagram of the circuit assume the load is purely inductive; (iii) show that the sending end voltage reduces by a factor (1 – cosδ) when a load is connected to the receiving end; and (iv) prove that the voltage regulation is approximated as sinφ.

Thanks for nice lecture Sir.
What is the start point and end point of a transmission line?
Can series of transmission lines exiting one bubar in a radial form be consider as one line.
