what shortcut did you use to move one frame backwards?

Looping a simply animated shape or character is relatively easy. However, looping live action footage is quite another thing.

why isn't anyone making a video about just looping the and instead of a whole video. In your video copy/pasty is enough

To this day, I haven't been able to get a single loop to work.

When I put my 2 second walk cycle layers in precomp, they disappear after the initial two seconds even after the LoopOut. Any suggestions? Anyone else having this problem?

Great tutorial. I have a really dumb question (but I must ask it - so please forgive me). After rendering the video, what kind of video file should be the result (i.e., will the final video file loop depending on the length of the file)? Or, does there need to be certain setting parameters in the render queue? Obviously, if the file is, say, only three(3) seconds long, but you want that file to loop, it would have to be a particular file size(?) I hope I made sense. Your thoughts.

hello. Is there anywhere I could find tutorials on animating 'In and Out' of Walk cycles?? I only find tuts on the actual walk cycle looping. I want to be able to animate an action for eg. like the character is sitting, he gets up, stands for moment and then walks....and then stops ect ect. I cant seem to figure out the best way of working that, all in one comp would seem silly.

Great tip. A question. How do you move back or front a key frame? If I'am on frame 29, I want to move 1 frame behind which is 28 or front which would be 30. I have a Mac and can never can figure out what key to press. Thanks.
