How to LIVE Stream on YouTube using Streamyard (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

Thank you so much for this amazing content. As a new Streamyard subscriber, I'm excited to see what all it has to offer. What initially drew me was the ability to stream to multiple platforms at the same time however you guys are blowing my mind with the professionalism and expertise that can be displayed utilizing Streamyard!

I take it that you view your stream in SY and not YT?

I've usually used obs but also only use my camera and occasionally when someone visits their voice however I'm getting ready to do a podcast with me and someone else and bringing them in through discord or hangouts I'm having trouble resizing the box so I figured I'd try streamyard because though I do want to discord I would also like to do a two-shot and singles so it seems like streamyard is easiest way to go especially since I'm going to fresh channel

I've done livestreams for a year now. Started with just a phone, now link it to my laptop so I can see the chat better. I'm close to using streamyard now too. I'll need to do it next week as my streams are every Friday evening. I feel there is a lot to learn about this first. Saw the other 20 min video on this. Both good videos so thanks for that 🙏

After creating the stream on StreamYard and selecting my YT account as a "destination", I jump over to YT studio to the live stream but all I get is a black box that says "Connect streaming software to go live".

I tried various google searches but still stumped.... what might I be overlooking?
