4 years later, out of these only VSCode survived. In many specific use-cases you can't use atom nor sublime text 4 whatsoever, people kinda stopped caring about them, plugins are ancient and aren't updated, so stuff is prone to not even working in the first place unless you write all the plugins yourself for everything you want to do
Ответитьfor me , any text editor that edit text is good
ОтветитьVS-code editor in the best i think 🤔🤔
Ответить😂 At the end wink 'vscode'
ОтветитьRip atom editor
ОтветитьThanks. I have chosen VSCode because of you. Atom is closing shop, no longer accepting JS code.
Ответитьvs code and atom
ОтветитьHELP
Ответитьik that vs code is an ide but im a beginner can i turn off the ide and just make a text editor?
ОтветитьAsmelash g gnome tick
ОтветитьI couldnt feel any lag on sublime nd atom but vsc IS LAGY ASF
ОтветитьHis favorite is VSC
ОтветитьYou should try "kate" from the kde guys.
Is just a text editor but has a terminal integrated in it.
I was surprised to hear VS Code is fast and Atom is slow. I just began using both. No project yet but just for practice. Atom feels so lightweight so far with 2-3 files. On the other hand VS code does look great but for some reason its painfully slow on my machine. Type a letter and wait for auto-complete to come. Click a file to open and wait before it opens. Any idea why is that so and what can I do to speed up VS Studio. I would want to use it moving forward
ОтветитьI cant even drag window out of VS code to make use of my multiple monitors :(
Ответитьi like visual studio since it has inbuilt terminal, that the main reason im using vs. I really love that feature. and the intellisence is pretty good.
if sublime text adds a terminal i will move to sublime text.
I started with sublime, atom then visual studio
Buying Sublime Text for a one-time fee is not ridiculous. It means feeding programmers.
Ответитьatom is garbage
ОтветитьIf you want to memorize code then use subline text 3 .
If you are making projects use VS-Code.
