Love it!!!!. Sharing this on my facebook.
Ответитьlove!
ОтветитьI've often looked at myself being on the outside looking in because I wasn't born here in the US. Only recently I have seen the advantages of having this huge chip in my shoulder while my peers are contented with what they have, I am constantly unsatisfied with my situation and looking for a better option.
ОтветитьI just found out about you couple of days ago, I love what you're doing and you're right about this! I'm from Croatia, ex Yugoslavia, and I'm doing music on english, and if I were in USA I would work 120% more harder then any American in this music, that's sure. Because of the hunger, opportunities and because we don't have options like you guys have in the US. But thanks to today, we got internet and every single thing is possible to be achieved. Peace and love Gary!
ОтветитьVery true, being an immigrant put in front of you challenges that make you stronger, in america people know too little about the world
ОтветитьI use to feel sorry for myself because, I am the minority of the minority OF THE DANG minority, but I really never had the adversity that many of my friends had. I have learned that I was just not built the same way as everyone else. So even being "me" I can still push my self to the limits and reach for my goals. Thanks Gary for playing a role in building my success 😃
ОтветитьGary...I am SO SICK AND TIRED OF VOICE PROMPTS AND COMPANIES THAT DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE NUMBERS!!.....Wassup with that? Companies have gotten SO LAZY that they don't even want to work...they want a voicemail or a video to recruit, speak, answer, hang up, spell out, diagnose, manage, take an order, sell, refund, say thank you or fuck you.....It's gotten ridiculous and I think younger folks think this is how business is ran and ITS NOT!!...get some balls, wipe the wet behind your ears off and TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!....Is it really that hard to understand? Companies out there...Quit looking for the "We don't want to talk to customers" IT solutions...QUIT being lazy and talk to people!!.....Get a phone number and then FOLLOW UP by ANSWERING IT!!
ОтветитьBeing an immigrant it´s the hardest thing EVER and at the same time it´s the greatest thing you could do! I´m one. You just need to get out and make things happen with a lot of hard work, sometimes you´ll do things that you hate but you can´t complain! this things make you find stuff you´re good at or what you really want to do! it gives you the strength enough to make your own things and do everything for it. I´m working in a s#itty job for 3.60 Euros per hour but that´s one of the reasons for me to create, work extra hours at home in my own project to make 15 or 16 hours of work every day for the project i believe in! and i´m gonna make it believe it i´ll do! So get up of that couch AND DO S#IT! if you need someone to give you an advice LISTEN TO GARY! This S#IT it´s free!!!. Thanks for all the content Gary it´s insane! the world needs to hear you more and more!
ОтветитьI couldn't agree more with this video. I especially liked the piece about complaining
ОтветитьI was born in New York but grew up in The Netherlands, what am I if I go back?
A re-immigrant?
being a Liberian in america, created such a drive because I was always the easy target growing up. It is what shaped me
ОтветитьThis is all old conent. WTF is new gary stuff
Ответить+Gary Vaynerchuk Gary, every time someone asks you about getting a degree and going to college, you say for the most part, "it's not going to help you in the business world plus you will only end up with debt". What about a scenario where a person on an Athletic scholarship or Academic scholarship is going to college and they have an interest in business and/or entrepreneurship. In this case, would getting a degree in Business Administration be more beneficial or a degree in Entrepreneurship (or is there something else you feel is better)?
ОтветитьI love your edgy vibe Gary (P.S. I'm a foreigner...aka Canadian hahah)
Ответитьbut gary many immigrants also find it difficult to capitalise on the opportunities due to language and cultural barriers. they live in ghettos for generations like in France or even the US
ОтветитьInspiration in 2 mins record
ОтветитьThat is so true. There is often a correlation between adversity and drive. I see it in myself a lot. Thanks for the great content!
Ответитьunsubscribed.
ОтветитьAMEN!
ОтветитьMy dad always says this is why us Jews do so well in England. There is a different work attitude than the average English person. We were all immigrants and our ancestors fought for us to be where we are.
ОтветитьSO Good GV, love it man.
ОтветитьAmericans get spoiled by everything that makes America great, so it's a catch 22, but really you need the losers in the pecking order. Doesn't mean they will always be losers, just means in the scope of the game you really need to learn what it is to lose before you earn what it takes to win.
ОтветитьGreat video. My parents came here from the island. And even tho Puerto Ricans are Americans, we didn't take that for granted. my parents worked their butts off to make sure my brothers and I had every opportunity we could. It's now up to us to take what we've learned from them and put it into practice. I'm one that saw my parents struggle for us, and now I'm making sure I go above and beyond what they gave us so I can give something to my children's children. A legacy. An Empire. Thanks for the consistent motivation Gary. I appreciate everything you do.
ОтветитьMost inspiring video I've watched this year.
ОтветитьAs an immigrant myself I couldn't agree more with this!
ОтветитьHeard strait from Gary V. himself. "I want to slice throats " XD Luv u man
ОтветитьGreat video content mash up. I think the focus of being 'verified in success by others' is a diversion you set for yourself. Know exactly what you want people and do what you know you have to do.
Peace Gary ✌️
Hands down the clips in this video are the best.
ОтветитьWe´re getting a lot of migrants here in Europe, and they dont seem motivated at all. 60% on wealfare here in scandinavia. Why arent they motivated Gary?
ОтветитьYou should do like a "Here's the truth in your face" kinda video!
ОтветитьI feel this so much!
ОтветитьSO SO SOLID
ОтветитьGary V. I've grown a Facebook page called "Horsepower Memes" in four months to a page of 75k. My question is how do I use that to make money? I've been told to sell decals or t-shirts but I'm wondering if there's anything else I could use that teach for. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat words Gary.
ОтветитьThe sickest video yet; "I want to slit throats" YES. The opportunity is everywhere, grateful for it
ОтветитьOn point as always! Keep kickin us americans in the pants Gary V! My friend and I were talking about how we as american have the victim mentality and the poor me syndrome. I've been working daily on removing the word "Can't" from my vocabulary. Thanks again, Gary V!
Ответитьfuck
ОтветитьYou actually made it after saying you will do it. Kudos!
edit: I would recommend an alternative to being an immigrant: Be an MLM salesman.
if anyone is in MLM, my apologies, but this is my experience.
What do I mean? This is the typical cycle of an MLM organization.
You go to the meeting. There is excessive positivity. Everyone is hyped. Its overwhelming.
So when you do sign up to join the MLM organization, they will hype you up further like Rocky before a fight.
"You can do it!"
"Its in you!"
"You are talented!"
"You are made for this!"
So, overinflated with ego, you set out to sell the products, sing its praises, bring joy to the world!
...Only to be swatted, despised, and spat upon like a scum.
You will feel like the most worthless thing on earth for not being able to sell a single thing, and your emotions will be shattered to the last piece.
Depressed and dejected, you go back to your upline to call it quits, only to have them inflate you with positivity again.
Pumppumppumpumppump...
And you head back out again.
Two things can result from you repeating this cycle over and over again.
One: You really succeed from this, and are able to sell any product that touches your hand, happily ever after. The end.
Two: You are depressed. Dejected. Shunned. Alone. Destroyed. Your self worth will be so battered and brittle that you will SHIVER if you even hear the word MLM. (That's me, if you haven't guessed.)
MLM selling is the best way to make yourself into a beggar without actually bankrupting yourself. Go and do it for a year. Shatter all your pride and self worth. That's exactly how it feels to be at the bottom of the world.
p.s. Hope this is a good Right Hook for you Gary. Thanks for all the values you add to our lives.
I'm the 666th like.
Fuck yeah.
Thanks for the daily inspiration. When you talk about WineLibraryTV I feel like I'm in that part of the story, just in the beginning. Thanks.
Ответить1st generation here. Speak that truth Gary. My parent's sacrifices fuel me.
ОтветитьHey Gary,
Dude, I totally AGREE with you on this video. I'm an immigrant myself, came here to States when I was 14 from Poland, did not speak any English, right after the Solidarity movement abolished communism in Poland and I gotta tell ya...
Immigrants are some of the most persistent, diligent, resilient, hard working (and many of them smart working), don't-quit, for-the-long-haul, tenacious, I'll make it happen no matter what people! (I"m sure I missed something...)
In fact, few months ago, I started a podcast dedicated to that subject matter where I interview successful immigrant business owners and entrepreneurs who started from nothing and make a HUGE success.
And every time I get to interview one of these amazing people, I'm left in awe.
I've had a "now multi-millionaire" who escaped on a small boat with 34 other people from Vietnam laying in that boat like sardines (people would cut their trigger fingers off to avoid military).... Immigrant from Russia who escaped communism and many others.
So, you are so right man and so glad you bringing this subject up because we can ALL learn from those people. And if I can help spreading the message in any way, help you, let me know. By the way, I shared this video on my Immigrant Masters Unite page. LOVE IT! :)
Thanks man!
Gary are you a minority or are you white? You cant be both. You recently did a video on which you bragged about how you are blessed to be a white male in America, now you are claiming to be a minority. Which one is it? So im guessing you are white around white folks and a minority "jewish" around non whites?
ОтветитьGary / D-Rock what's the song u use in the outro for this vid??
ОтветитьLet's live and see how this turns out to be.
Ответить2020: we are soft, those who want it will get it and those that don't will keep complaining about how hard life is
Ответить
