i was on mixer before i new twitch than i heard it was going down so i moved to twitch and i'm a casual streamer so its up in the air i stream when i like to and if i get views cool if i don't cool

Does this mean the king of twitch is back (ninja)

:)) ninja and shroud made tens of millions of dollars in a year and mixer is closing. Maybe pay streamers less and gain users/streamers with better services? Throwing money at it is obviously whack!

I honestly love Mixer. I never used to watch streams until I caught a glimpse of the Ninja Vegas event and completely fell in love with Ninja, so when he moved to Mixer, I moved too. I've never watched a stream on any other platform since Ninja left and I've really really enjoyed Mixer. I watched a lot of smaller streamers on Mixer because Ninja wasn't consistent with his schedule. I feel so sad that it's come to this, especially for those smaller streamers.

I have watched mixer when ninja and shroud started streaming there. But it wasn't for like months. Where as on twitch, i watch more hours on because it's more convienient as it has more content.

Sad for the small streamers.... But mixer had it coming ... For those who dont know Streamers have come forward saying theyve been harrassed and Raped by mixer staff and partners and at pax events and Mixer did nothing. And now theyve been caught out so theyre closing down. And theyre trying to sweep it all under the carpet

I was a streamer on mixer to I was working on try to get my partner with them now I got to started over and find work my way back up to its was so easy to use mixer

I just started streaming on mixer with 14 followers and 119 views

I'm a new streamer, I thought that Mixer did well enough and listened to requests and had good customer crevice- at least in the beginning.
This makes me a little sad, and I guess I have to go back to Twitch.

With Microsoft being a pretty large shareholder of Facebook this seemed like the natural backup plan

That's sad that Mixer is being shutdown as I actually started as a small streamer and I was really enjoying it and I was trying to get views and then actually starting to get followers and veiws and it actually felt really good but now it's it's gonna be gone 😢.

We need to stand up against sellouts. Bar them from crawling back on all fours to Twitch. Lock the doors. Not welcome.

It's really bad for medium streamers on mixer! They had their community and followers there. Now they don't have followers anywhere! They have to start over

The problem was that ninja and shroud didn't play with ANY streamers on Mixer. The communities built on twitch are what built up individual streamers. I think Mixer wanted Ninja and Shroud to fish out potential big streamers from Mixer's streamer base. But that didn't happen. So what you essentially got was streams of Ninja playing with 2 or 3 streamers from OTHER sites. And at that point its like, why would I go to Mixer when Mixer's biggest names play with 90% twitch streamers? I'd rather view on twitch.
