hold up the moos come by meteor? i've probably unintentionally shot some 😭 strangely enough i do seem to have a bunch congregating on the right side of my map, not sure how they got there since most of the space is walled off with bunkers. Also have not been able to auto wrangle them... maybe i'll try the trap again, i think i wasn't using the airborn critter trap

is this update only for DLC or the regular game as well?

You forgot to mention, if you heat up the milk instead of using the machine, you get more wax out of it. Also for the gassy grass it is better to separate them and not put them together in one room with the moo, reason being the natural gas produce by the moo will dim the light receive by the grass making it hard to grow. Because the grass need very little liquid chlorine, your pipe will slowly warm up the liquid if you are not using insoresin as the material for insulated pipe breaking the pipe in the process. Your meep will NOT harvest the grass automatically, not unless you set those plants as harvestable using your tool icon. Those are my findings.

I'm pretty sure a dupe loses more calories eating pancakes than they gain.

you should try the 100k challenge. Its a workshop mod that makes the whole planetoid generate at 100 degrees kelvin, and I've been having a bunch of fun with it for the past several weeks. you have to do a lot of things very differently from how you normally would- most of the time, you're not trying to cool down your base, but instead heat certain parts to certain temps, like for farms or even ranches.

i think this update killed my last colonies save man cuz it says that "My game got eaten by a black hole" not too long ago, and i cant even revert to a previous stage.

Love these deep dives for new updates! I didn't even catch how the wax could improve tube transit times. Also, I wish real pancakes were only a few calories... I would not feel such guilt eating a whole plate.

Ah yes the I can milk you update

I love how the content releases for ONI always shore up the current weak areas. Finally a reason to get moos! And with better gas grass, now moos are even better for natural gas, plus milk!

It's like they moved all the best technical devs to make the new games and they left the least experienced ones to give us these "artistic" updates... we need late game complex content...

I hope they will eventually remove the water gate bug.

I wonder if they finally fixed pacus. If the water level they're in changed their pathfinding completely broke until save reload, and it was like that for over a year. Also sometimes inexplicably refused to eat from feeder

This might be the best update yet. They fixed/changed things that have annoyed me for months/years.

Does the critter fountain need to be in a ranch to function? Since it gives the same moral boost as grooming, I'm wondering if it could be used as a subtitute for grooming, and if so if it could be put in a really large room with a large number of critters.

Will the happiness penalty stacking nerf break starvation ranching for e.g. pokeshells?

30% speed boost is blessing or garbage depending on wax consumption.

Honestly, there's no other game that makes me this happy when I see new updates, the devs put so much love into this game and it makes us all happy to be part of the community :)

My starve ranches definatly arent going to be given milk...
But.. therium plastic? That's going to make vacuuming out double liquid locks way easier!

Nice to see that such an old game is still getting updates, however small. I wonder if we willl get enemies to fight one day, would be epic to have a fighting squad dupes
