ОтветитьWASTE OF TIME GIVES NO TIPS BESIDES BUY A BALL AND PAY HIM TO COACH YOU
ОтветитьSales pitch, not a tutorial
ОтветитьThanks for the 1 shitty tip
ОтветитьI I
Vvvv[Actual tips below]vvvV
I am conflicted about this one honestly. On one hand, this is prolly how you stop being a beginner, which would mean, this would be for beginners. But on another hand, most beginners won't be looking to head knee deep into the sport and drop cash on a brand new ball and a coach.
I did neither of these for ice skating despite the recomendations, and ice skating is objectively harder.
My tip for new bowlers: Master the basics of positioning and throwing.
Tip 1: Take 4 steps from the lane end, so that way your position will roughly be 1 to 2 steps away from the ball dispenser. This way you can see, and line up to the center dot for your lane, and then generally align it with the lead pin. Imagine a big red line connecting the final pin and the end of your lane, kinda like in wii bowling (you don't just have to trust me on this, try it. It works)
Tip 2: Time your throw arm with the rest of your body.
When you go to roll the ball, you should take 4 steps forward roughly and throw.
Your throw arm should be mid swing by step 2, and should be mid release at the end of step 3. You want to keep your momentum if you can, so you sort of slide at the end of step 3, and mid step 4. This will maximize your pin knock potential.
Tip 3: DO NOT worry about curving if your new or a casual bowler. Contrary to popular oppinion, it is not the key to consistent strikes, merely just the result of skill.
Typically curving is a higher level technique that is worked on over time and is very nuanced. By the time you get to that level, you will already have a feel for the right angle and speed to get a strike anyway.
Tip 4: Start with a lighter ball if your new, and also switch if you feel like your current ball is too heavy. A heavy ball can be unruly, and yoir arm will get tired which will lead to the trebbling of your throw arm, which will lead to inadvertant curves or bad habits which will take away power and accuracy from your shot.
Hopefully this helped better than this video lol
fck your certified coach, we just need fast tips
ОтветитьShame going bowling is so expensive, id love to get good at it
ОтветитьHonestly just practice a little bit. If you want to bowl for fun and not necessarily be a pro just play for a bit. I was getting 50-70 range in my first games but after like 9-10 times at the bowling alley with using the same ball they provide that’s comfortable for me (Don’t keep switching your ball unless you plan on buying one it’ll throw you off in my experiences) now I bowl consistently over 100 and have bowled over 140 a couple times. Below average for sure but I’m still new. Goes to show that just practicing makes perfect. If you want to be a pro though yeah go buy some nice shoes, get a ball, get a coach or if you have a friend that’s good at bowling have them teach you and save money. Ultimately though like anything else just practice. I have seen some players that have a nice custom ball and everything and they don’t play well. It’s not all about equipment. I’ve also seen guys bowl 200 using the balls they provide at the alley. Granted they were experienced players but still
ОтветитьBruh I want to bowl cause it's cheap. Like I got money for a coach
ОтветитьVery hard to hit any pins
Gets a strike
I like it a lot because I’m still learning how to bowl
ОтветитьThis is just an advertisement to hire them 😢
Ответитьdidn’t work
ОтветитьOk, there is no bowling shop/specialist or coach any where near where I live. We have a bowling alley that mostly just profits off kids parties, even the staff don’t know how to play. People who make these videos need to know how far they actually need to scale their advice back to basics.
ОтветитьIntro is too long and self-aggrandizing, " tips" are unhelpful: buy a pro ball and hire an expensive coach and subscribe to our coaching service. Get out...😑
ОтветитьYou sound like Agent Phil Coulson from the marvel series if he was a senior citizen
Great video! helped me a lot!
A beginner doesn't have a high-performance ball nor is he willing to buy one. It's about what he should do when he visits the local bowling club, say, with his friends. Misleading title.
Ответитьmade me feel embarrassed
Ответитьdon’t listen so much cap
Ответитьstupid tips lol
Ответитьgotta be honest just here so I can surprise my family with my bowling skills that came out of nowhere
Ответитьlooking up tips before hanging out with the guys tonight & it’s telling me to buy a ball & get lessons 😐
ОтветитьThis video's not for beginners, it's for intermediates. I was trying to learn the very basics - something to get to 120 pins screwing around with friends
ОтветитьI dunno... 3 tips for beginners...
The first one you mention is better equipment? This most likely doesn't even apply to real amateur beginners who just play bowling once every 2-3 months with friends.
The second is just plain obvious, I don't think you can call that a Tip for a beginner in anything, because it applies to every area/sport/activity.
The third tip is perhaps nice and all, but I think it would help if you bothered to explain a little bit as to WHY it is good to spin the ball or HOW exactly it adds to getting more pins down.
Horrible tips for a beginner. Buy a ball and get a trainer? No shit!
ОтветитьWorst tips ever.
ОтветитьHi my name is Cody I'm special needs I can't hook the bowling I'm having hard time trying to improve my bowling scores I can only bowl an 130 to 150 can't get past that
ОтветитьWhich is better for a beginner? The highest rated hooking ball or a more Intermediate?
ОтветитьThe dislikes would be mad high on this if we could still see them.
'Buy a professional ball"
"See a trainer"
Go blow a balloon, my fine fellow.
For beginners: spend money before going to the kids birthday party 😅
ОтветитьGoes to point a to point b in a very straight line. strikes out anyways
ОтветитьHey Mike Shady, I'm in Cap-Chat, Gaspésie and im not too sure if there is any certified coach in the area. Should I just give up bowling or can I learn with internet ? Thank you so much Mike,
Alice
This video helped me a lot . Got me my first win today . Thanks 🎉
ОтветитьCan never get enough of the basics 👍🏾
Ответитьthanks so much
ОтветитьThanks for the tips
ОтветитьThank you. The background music is too distracting.
Ответитьwatching this at the bowling alley because i just finished a game with 58 and i lost to two 9 year olds
Ответитьsellout
ОтветитьThis bullsh**t doesn’t work
ОтветитьThat was one tip
ОтветитьGut pleja
ОтветитьI understand the point of the video and appreciate that man’s teaching, but 1. Buy a bowling ball and 2. Get a coach, not really the tips anyone is looking for who is a real “beginner”. According to the title of this video you should probably teach stuff more like, how to hold the ball, how to spin a ball, how to know which ball size is suitable for a person and so on…
Ответить1: spend money
2: spend money
3: decent drill for practicing the release
thank you so much youve helped me get a spare🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьI need somebody to teach me how to bowl a perfect game
Ответитьi just wanted to beat my family in ten minutes
ОтветитьHalfway through and his tip is "get a better ball", "get a coach"....
ОтветитьBeen a bowler for 25 years. If you don't buy a ball you stand 0 chance against people who do and have it drilled specifically to their hand.
If I go bowling with friends and forgot my own ball for some reason, having to throw a house ball would knock 50 pins off my average. A lot of ya'll may not like the "buy a ball" suggestion, but it is the single most important thing you can do to improve.
