ОтветитьIt is very annoying how difficult is to locate Neon Arrow, Vendetta, and Phantom.
I also think it’s dumb that melee weapon mods can not be crafted, but their counterparts for ranged weapons can be crafted.
i think you made an error , crunch always adds more damage than pacifier, even at 100% crit chance, and the more crit damage you have the worse it gets.
base crit damage is 50%, a 1.5 multiplier to damage. if your base damage is 100 then crunch would increase it to 107, and a crit to 107*1.5=160.5. but with pacifier the math is 100*1.57=157.
i think, but there is one possible exception, if damage boosts stack linearly(including from perks) then a high damage modifier could make crunch much worse.
if it does then pacifier would be better, because crunch would be almost worthless (except when using a weapon you have not specialized in).
also, fun fact, crunch used to add flat damage.
and the name could be a reference to the poor working conditions that led to the buggy initial release.

ОтветитьI suppose this top is not exactly correct, because mod value significantly depends on your build.
e.g. legendary short circuit with high intelligence is causing very high electric damage procs on crits, so high crit chance makes any weapon one-shoting enemies regardless on it's natural damage, so crit chance mods become absurdly powerful
Can confirm the combat amplifier is showing up in the city center gun shop. Had to cycle the vendors inventory once and then it was there. :)

the way skippy works is pick body or head > take out 50 enemies > Skippy switches and LOCKs itself to choice you didn't pick
so for most damage from Skippy even tho he will scream at you pick Passivist > then get locked into headshot mode forever

ОтветитьIf you fully do reflex attribute and particulary skill up assault perk section with whole 20 levels of skill progression, and i think just damage, crit, and penetration mods are just enough.
Man, this game is having the most fucked up way of skills, perks, and mods for armor and weapons. It needs a complete overhaul of the entire system.
Kinda messes with the thinking to go so complex and experiment the while game instead of enjoying and playing it to the fullest.
Future patches must include a system where we could choose 4 or more unique mods based on what weapons we are using like for example:
Unique set of mods for power weapons all together.
Tech weapons separate.
Smart weapons separate.
Me clicking the video thinking it was actually gun mods…

Ответитьwhat about autoloader? also from what i understand of PAX theres like a hidden 1%hp that if crossed kills if not knocks them out. lets say its 15 HP for some gonk your shooting and this gonk has 20 HP left and your last hit rolls a 36 there dead but if you roll a 30 there knocked out. PAX stops the finial hit and states effects from removing that last little bit of HP but if they do get knocked you and you hit them once again even with PAX it will kill them. IMO one of the best weapons to put PAX one to deal with cyberpsycho is the Fenrir add on Combat amps get them down to 1% and let the burn finish them off.

ОтветитьI will say that I prefer Pax over the Kiroshi mod, simply because Pax doesn't nullify headshot dmg. The 3% dmg boost on top of that isn't too shabby either

ОтветитьI got an LMG from a cyberpsycho mission once which had no vertical recoil as per statcard. Combining that with countermass was absolutely busted

ОтветитьThe Pax is heavily underrated, unlike the non-lethal optics mod it doesn't affect headshot damage (Eyewear mod specifically states headshots no longer get a damage multiplier. With a Pax on a silenced pistol I get the full multiplier non-lethal headshots for easy work on cyberpsychos.

ОтветитьHey Sam, you seemed to suggest not installing weapon mods on your good weapons until after you can make the legendary versions of those mods. While you can't remove weapon mods you can overwrite them, so definitely put those lesser versions in and then replace when you have better.
I'll also check when I get home how many of the reload speed mods I have. My current play through has 3 or 4, and I don't think I'd ever had less than 3. When I'm doing a non reflex/ handgun build I tend to put those mods into my dying light to cheese the quest at Wilson's.
Edit: Ok, I've checked my stash for my current play through and I have for the Phantom mods (rate of fire), 2x common, 3x uncommon and 2x epic versions of the mod. Note that they all give 5% rof, and I suspect that people might not notice the more common variants, just look for the red wire to the connecting pin.
