Dave, I’ve got another couple of stats on the 3m Handicap Hurdle. 4/5 winners won lto, 4/5 last ran in December. That gives you Sam’s Choice and Grozni. Both are entered in Pertemps at Sandown so fingers crossed they’ll turn up here. Owners of Sam’s Choice have Call Me Lyreen in the Handicap Chase, he won the 2m handicap hurdle last year.

What factors influence your picks the most? Ground? Trip? Jockey? Trainer? Sire? Etc... Might be a nice segment to do on how you pick the horses you do.

Do you think common practice is potentially well handicapped am liking the 20s for the boodles down to run in a handicap this weekend??

Great Video but you have to also take into account Variable Change with Horses, they are animals, then can be trained, fed, have experience at the track, experienced jockey, ran in the same grade, same weight, but a small element of variable change such as weather, wind, positioning in the race will effect the outcome. I have used stats so many times and the one thing it provides is a small advantage to ruling out a majority of the field, but to use it to identify winners in handicaps of 14 horses or more is an absolute nightmare :). Dave what on earth was Paul Townshend doing following the 🐌 horse in the race on the rail. Can't believe this was team orders and managed to get Lossiemouth beaten. We are quick to praise great rides but this was terrible. Willie must have Ben pulling his hair out 🤯
