LOL. only if it isn't moving. they can not control the hypersonic missile to alter its course. it can come to a few feet of a land target. but a moving target it can't control because they can not communicate with it to change course. PS. USA has hypersonic and they can communicate and change course of their hypersonic missiles and planes. We have high speed communication. The average carriers can only hold 14 aircraft planes and when the planes take off with very little fuel, they have to be refueled in air to go to a mission. none have a catapult system to have the planes take off with bombs, missiles and fuel. USA have 65+ airplanes on board. Russia's aircraft carrier could only leave port with a tugboat to bring it back if it broke down again and again. the Russian aircraft carrier just sunk in dry dock and the Crain gashed a big hole in it. LOL. nuclear aircraft carriers can go for 25 years before needing nuclear fuel rods.

Now we've seen Jet aircraft taking off and landing all the time on US Aircraft Carriers. How come there's no video or pictures showing the Russians or the Chinese Aircraft taking off of there Aircraft. Claiming you have something don't mean squat. The US uses a catapult system to take off and a tail hook to slow down. If China and Russia has Fighter Jets as fast as the USA, trying to land is going to be very trick for them. It's just really curiosity that they show these big boats but not once does anyone of them launch or land on Russian or Chinese.

Maybe in 200 years we'll have Space Carriers, which launch smaller Space Craft into space to battle others

Correction: In WW2 England was the superpower but was going broke because they didn't get help in time (1939). My idea is to have 4 aircraft carriers that would cam-lock together to make it twice as long and twice as wide. 3 of them would have retractable towers that are used when traveling separately. This way the “quad aircraft carrier could decouple and go thru the Panama and suez canals and reassemble for operations. Also if one took damage a replacement could take is place.
