Even Chinese people don’t own their own land, it’s leased to them for 70 years. As for actual land, a foreigner definitely cannot purchase land and certainly not next to any military base.

At 483x the population of Qatar (so the nation of Qatar 483 times !!!..), they also have strict laws about land ownership in China, where the government famously took the land away from citizens and gave them 'fair' trades in return i.e. 3 brand new apartments commensurate to the size of the seized land. In turn, those apartments skyrocketed in value, so the Chinese citizens speak about the trade positively, IME. Thailand has strict 49% ownership laws, with 51% to Thai citizens, when it regards apartment blocks on land (i.e. 100 apartment units, only 49 can be sold to foreigners as per their legal stipulations, and the land must be 100% Thai).

As a person which studies the law all over the world, and news, and having lived in South-East Asia, I'm aware of all the vital laws such as those mentioned above.

Some Asian countries you cannot purchase property unless you must be a citizen that lives there majority of the year.

Im chinese I agree on this law, UK should have passed too, Chinese are very double standard here, as you know China is not allow dual citizenship, but some keep the passports for the convenience travel and other, but recent couple years them strict the regulation, even forbid visa for some oversea chinese go home as punishment. So while those oversea chinese hold chinese passport support this and pride about it, not consider other oversea chinese as equal, while them have not problem leeching on local benefit, So I’m not gonna support them either if you want to buy lands then become US citizens not more leech.

This is a common rule/law in many countries. And this ban refers only to foreign nationals associated with hostile governments and political parties. It is not just China but Russia, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea.. These questions about national and party loyalies are asked in the US citizenship application by the way. Why is it not bad then?
