The movie from 1990 was a perfect balance between dark and a little like comedy for the kids it was so awesome and I'm pretty excited to see what this has because you probably don't want to bring your kids to this. But seriously think about it the very first one from 1990 was a perfect balance between dark and not so dark.

TMNT 1990 is still the best comic book to film adaptation ever made. I would’ve enjoyed a true sequel to that one but I’ll take a Last Ronin storyline if it’s rated R and treated like Deadpool.

One day (after watching the Power Rangers short film in 2015) I wrote a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fanfic. It was a really depressing, cruel, dirty and hopeless story😨. At first I even wanted to draw a comic based on this scenario, but then... I deleted the source. I decided to forget it because tmnt don't deserve this. I really felt sorry for them, as if I was a child again🥲.
Why did I tell you this? I really wish the last ronin got a good ending (but I don't really think that will happen)

Can we also unfuck their physiques. Tone it down we don't want to see 4 Bradley Martyns "260 tho?!"💪🤷

I hope they keep it R rated. I will totally go to the theater to see this if they keep it dark and twisted. I loved the turtles when I was a kid, would love to see it!! I like Seth’s adaptation too. I thought he did a great job with his fun and kid friendly version. My little guy loved it, that’s all that matters, not those stupid critics that only like movies that the rest of us dont

This is live action? They literally ARE cartoons. There are people that are definitely made of flesh and blood, but it is going to be tough to buy into this if everything looks like real life except the main characters.
