Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - Before You Buy [4K]

A lot of good and a lot of bad. Might be in the minority here, but yeah. Would love to hear your favorite Assassin's Creed game! 👇

There are gametypes where open world is the way to go and gametypes where the game should just lead you through a story developers want you to experience. I can be wrong as I have never bothered to play any Assassins Creed game through despite wanting to like them, but I think these would work better with a more straightforward "game walks you through the story" kind of approach with limited but well designed and beautifull scenes and moments. Then there are FPS games like Farcry, where I would avoid cutscenes, let you design you character, keep the world open to explore and make the game less linear.

As it comes to Ubisoft and Farcry -series, they really should go back to how it was, when they pushed graphics, physics and AI further with every new release. The stale releases after FC4 have been a bit boring to be honest and I have bought and played them all (1-6). I think Ubisoft should look at Crysis, Cyberpunk and Half-Life to develop future Farcry games, but look at Horizon Zero Dawn, Tomb Raider, God of War and The last of Us to develop better AC-games. Opinions of course, can differ.

It's impossible to beat Odyssey that game and its aesthetic were spot on and personally I liked the game being overly big

Just saw 30 min on a playthrough video, and bought it yesterday for only 10 bucks online. Loved the black flag and odyssey, so for me it seems like a perfect purchase. Of course disappointment for a non perfect game isnt the same when you ve spent hard earned 50-70 bucks ! 😅

This was one of my first assassins creed games that you had to go to a quest menu and there isn’t a quest you track on the map like the older ones but now you have to physically click on a quest and I didn’t know that so I stopped playing the game bc I thought it was a glitch but than I forgot abt it and I just started playing oddyssy and got to a tricky part and than I thought why not play assassins creed valhalla

My GPU died when this game was released and now in 2k23 I am going to play this soon after completing Oddysey so damn excited.

If I was 13 this would be the best freaking game ever. But now, Im 37 and damn aint no way I have 244329 hours to finish the story and another 1834747 hours to 100% the main game and dlc.

Odyssey will be my favorite RPG-style Assassin's Creed game for probably the rest of time. Didn't have the same fun insantly with Valhalla that I did with Odyssey.

Game is good, no doubt; but for some reason, I've lost interest fairly quickly, myself.

its crazy how much of a succes ac valhalla is
it passed 1 billion$ last year in february
other big open world AAA games like elden ring,cyberpunk,witcher 3,hogwards legacy,fallout etc could not do that

I've literally played origins for three hours or so and totally gave up on the locate the entrance to the pyramid or something along those lines, apparently it's buggy and it glitches sometimes so I gave up. Never played any of the games at all really other than that. I got it today from my best friend, I was drawn for the norse mythology solely. I'm very late to the table but.... Today is the day.

I love how you pretty much just amended that there is only 2 sex male and female. I love it. And it’s true you can’t change or be one or the other you will always be who you came out as. Male or female. Your DNA will always be the same regardless of anything you do. And I am not sorry to say that I am so proud to say that.

Nothing to do with "Assassins'" or "assassination's" its basic rpg now.....nothing more. People trying to justify it are wrong. ITs an mediocre RPG at best, which coming from AAA company....it sucks.

I've just finished odyssey so I got this on sale for just £15 and I'm loving it so far, it's early days yet but this is an absolutely stunning world to explore and I'm just taking it all in 😊

Complete edition, fully patched is a joy. Once again, play later, play better. Got it at a discount,getting the full experience and loving it. Stealth is amazing and quests plus dlcs too 😁

I love this trilogy, however these games don't feel like an assasins creed game. For one the stealth sucks, i couldn't get into it because i had a thick ass armor, on same with Oddysey. Still great games tho...

Assassin Creed The Witcher Ripoff

11:00 am I the only one who loves glitches in games? It makes the game, for me, absolutely wacky and hilarious.

It's actually a Great Game. A bit all over the place, but nothing is Touching Ghost of Tshima! Every battle is different, I only hate there isn't any dlc! Because I would have come outta pocket!

One thing that disappointed me is that you still get penalized for killing civilians and to me they failed here the Vikings lived for blood and slaughter many and when I try to immerse in a similar style I get sent to the last checkpoint I thinks that detail is pretty dumb

The absolute worst Assassin's Creed in terms of the parkour/traversal. Barely responsive, bugged as all hell. And I'm playing it now, with all updates and whatnot....

This in my opinion is the best AC after AC 2 brotherhood

Played for 20 hour, and this game was so shit. How did they get even more worse after Origin and Odyssey. Boring combat, boring story, boring world and boring missions.

i was the same with valhalla and i hecking love viking, something just always felt missing i completed main story and then didn't touch it

Finally got around to playing this game. What a hot bloated mess. There's simply too much going on in it and as a result none of it is properly fleshed out or engaging. It's just simply not good enough to warrant the 100+ hours you need to put into it. More does not equal good, despite how much Ubisoft contually tries to convice us otherwise.
