Conheci essa música por volta de Março/Abril de 2022 em um momento muito confuso da minha vida, eu me sentia preso e sufocado a um sentimento que eu não conhecia mais. Estava lavando meu rosto quando essa música começou a tocar em algum rádio da vida. Por algum momento essa música me deu um momento de "liberdade" que eu desconhecia, algo realmente novo e que eu precisava. Precisava dessa sensação mas ao mesmo tempo eu não sabia o que e como fazer pra ter isso. Bom, na verdade eu sabia porém eu não queria enxergar. Apesar da minha decisão, apesar das coisas que ocorreram, eu senti que eu precisava fazer isso, mesmo que tivesse que machucar alguém. Como tudo na vida, toda escolha tem uma consequência e geral alguém sempre sai machucado e as nossas escolhas que por muitas vezes precisem ser "egoístas" nunca irá agradar os dois lados. Fico muito triste pela pessoa em questão ter saído machucada pois ela não merecia. No fim das contas eu também saí machucado pois uma decisão como essa, acabam tendo efeitos colaterais. Queria poder sentar qualquer dia com a pessoa e pedir perdão, desculpas pela minha decisão e pelas coisas não terem acontecidas como a gente imaginava que seria. Essa música, me trouxe muita clareza, muita dor, um pouco de conforto e de que tudo irá ficar bem, algum dia.

The Fratellis are awesome because this shows that they care about the stories of the people in their songs.

Beauty may be in the eye (ear) of the beholder, but I dare you to find anyone in the last 50 years who writes songs anywhere nearly as beautiful as Jon's. Unspeakably beautiful stuff.
