Minthara stays the Best Girl - Baldur's Gate 3

Anyone who feels bad for minthara or who thinks she is redeemable is wrong. and anyone who thinks shes perfect the way she is is prolly morally questionable themselves in real life. I see so many comments trying to sympathize with her. She is the evil character, nothing more. I cant help but be reminded of that one college boy who ran slaughtered a bunch of people in his BMW and because "he had a cute and sympathetic face" people online were feeling bad for him and saying he was innocent. For anyone saying im looking to much into this you havent seen the comments ive seen. If you sympathize with minthara or empathize with her, maybe do some moral self reflection. I dont think i want to grow old in a world where people just accept people like this as normal.

Edit: for a comparison. Laezel is Evil but she is only evil because she has been manipulated her entire life. She is good within and has never been given the chance or opportunity to grow as her own person. this is why laezel is in reality a good and redeemable person.

minthara is the one doing the manipulating, shes the one that doesnt give other people chances to grow. She is in all manner and essence a pure literal psychopath.

I didn't even know she is a playable character. In both of my playthrous I just killed her because she seemed just like another evil npc that you have to go through. Are there more playable characters that the original six (Shadowhearth, Gale, Astarion, La'Zael, Karlach and Will)?

I love how Minthara acts like she's surprised they won't let the refugees into Baldur's Gate as if she wasn't literally trying to hunt down and murder an entire camp full of refugees earlier in the game.

Her voice sounds so wise, yet humble. I love it.

I did not understand why people like Minthara, now I get it, her dialogue is hilarious. She undercuts the seriousness of the actions required to recruit her by being so over-the-top evil that she's nearly a parody of it, I love it.

As much as i love the appearance of drow, I have no regrets killing Minthara in my game

just a shame so many companion quests and dialogue get lost for one companion. dont get me wrong the emerald grove will always go down.
