I'm going through the same thing like how you posted on your video I cannot read any codes because of my check engine light being on constantly also my transmission shift awkward from first to second gear some guy came over with his big computer an autel and it does the same to his except when he goes into the tcm programming he does the learn procedure and the check engine light goes off them of i put my regular scanner to see if it works thru the obd 2 it works but then when i start driving the car it will shift normal then the check engine light will come back on and I won't be able to read the codes at all again can it be a transmission control module issue that's causing it or the ECM you think?

What if you turn on the key, and the check engine light flashes once and stays off? It’s like it tries to turn on but loses power at the last minute.

Scott I have an important question I have a new genesis gv70 2.5 turbo car I have computer problems that are under warranty my concern is the they have told me the genesis tec team have told the service centre which is just a normal car dealership service centre that they need to check every pin tention point on the whole computer system?? This is a major concern for me as my understanding is they would have to basically dismantle the whole car into pieces to do that then rebuild the car would I be right in my assumption? I'm not comfortable having a service centre rebuild my top luxury car that's assembled by a AI assembly line factory not a bunch of car machanics at a service centre?? What's your thoughts please 🙏

Mr. Kilmer. I am having trouble figuring out my truck. 2003 Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9. It was running for about an hour and just shut off by itself and it won't start back up. It has plenty of gas and I'm getting a spark. I bought a new MS300 scanner but it won't read anything on my truck. Your input would be appreciated.

One of my mothers parking lights just stays on all the time along with neither front turn signals working and the back ones being fast. The other issue is I hooked up my Innova scanner to it and it wouldn't link to the vehicle so I tried it on mine, and it wouldn't link up with it either

I have a 2010 honda fit sport, I have a check engine light on. But I get, no codes stored in the module. Idk if it's canbus issue or what. The Strang thing is on my Autel scanner it says no codes in module on obd2 side, but on the all system scanner side it gives me a p0171 lean code.

Second sensor I unplugged let the scanner do its thing. Thanks for the information. You always come through.

Although unlikely, had two sensors that been shorted out or faulty you would have changed the ECU going by your logic and what you said. You would unplug one bad sensor but because the device still wouldn't communicate you assumed it was not that sensor and plugged it back in. After going through all the sensors you would still have no comms and assume it was the ECU computer. Best to unplug the sensors one at a time and check comms WITHOUT plugging them back in. That is the only way you can be 100% sure it is not one of them causing the comms problem.

I've programmed the key and fob that works but won't crank and no communication with 2 different scanner's snap-on veris and an enova. YOu just gave me a turn. Cause I was at a Dead End.. thank you. (2013 F150 ) I have an OBD Link Ex Connector that gives an error message, "Adapter not Found" when go to connect thru FORScan App. Adapter has a green light while plugged into OBD/laptop. All drivers up to date, OBD Technical Support will not address issue, please help..
