Pay for a comfortable place to live. It's cool what you're doing but I don't know if I should be happy for you, or feel sorry for you. Living in a small car like that looks like so much work and inconvenience to me. Eating healthy would be a challenge. Dealing with weather conditions where you have to stay in your cramped car. Break ins to your vehicle even with black outs for the windows would be a huge concern for me while hiking or shopping in a city. I hope she carries protection and some type of alarm system for those times when evil people try to break in.

What happened to your dog? What do you do with all your stuff when the car goes in the shop?

This was my plan also until I found out about the cost to live in other countries. Just an idea but look at living in south east Asia or Eastern Europe. Very easy to live on 1k a month in other countries. Cheers 🎉

Hi Angie, Joy here…(using my husband’s I pad) if you go to a fabric store , possibly even at wal mart…you can purchase spray glue to hold your black window fabric onto the cardboard. Some people spray glue their black fabric onto the silver reflective material to help insulate their car also. I’m thinking that maybe more expensive though. Glad you have covered your windows for privacy. Keep reading your Bible👍

Thank you for the video. I'm thinking of doing the same. Not so much to travel, at least not yet. Just can't bring myself to pay the ridiculous rent and utilities 😂. I found your channel tonight. Congratulations on living the life you want! It's a gift from God that should never be taken for granted.

When I was a kid, I was raised by my grandma, and me & her went all over Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, going to various antique malls. I've often said when I retire, if God forbid my wife passes away before me, I'd like to travel again, but next time, not only going to antique malls and flea markets, but also hiking in the wild. Just today, my family and I got back from the Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee, and while I'm not a fan of cold weather, it was a good trip. While there, we got to see a wild black bear. If you've never been to the Smoky Mountains, you should go. It has a lot of beautiful scenery with lots of trails, creeks, streams, and small waterfalls. Just make sure your brakes are in good shape! Btw, I just subscribed to your channel.

I did this for a while (about a year) to save money. I moved into my midsized truck. Used my gym membership to take showers. It was a little easier for me, being a guy. I'm concerned about your safety. I fended off a couple of "animals" trying to break into my truck a few times with a ah'em.. protective device I had. Thank God I never had to actually see if it worked. I could tell a few more stories. Once I transitioned back to a normal living situation, I had a hard time sleeping at first. I was so used to the truck. The other thing to deal with was laundry and keeping my living situation private from my employer. I was afraid it would not look good professionally. I know this post is a little older now. Hope you are doing well and staying safe. God bless you ❤

I really admire that you can do this and I like your setup! The only thing I would suggest is to definitely tint your windows as much as it’s allowed legally. I just think it would keep you safer. The window coverings keep you out of view but they look sketchy like you’re hiding something of value or that’s illegal. Wishing you the best experiences! Stay safe!
