Going on my second contiki, first one I did before covid period so a little scared so I got a single room for myself so less interaction. I’m planning to do my own things in each city. I am excited but I’m going in winter so I pray it will be great and I won’t ever get sick!

Its the contiki cough for me. 😬 not sure about that. Unfortunately COVID is still very real and illness while traveling is an inevitable risk so if you get sick it’s a total loss.

I agrée 💯 I signed up for contiki this time but it’s too expensive:/ the only issue was installment that’s why I did it through them ! But alone - yes u can do it !

I also did the same trip and had been to Italy before. It was a bit of repetition as you said, but I also enjoyed revisiting some places to see what I didn't see last time.
I agree about the modular trips, they should make this incredibly clear at the time of booking that you'll be adding and losing people throughout which is not ideal.
I feel the people who did the Rome to Amalfi trip (Italian Escape) were not on the trip long enough at all to really get to know anyone or get a proper feel for Italy.

Where did you find travel insurance? Was it cheap? Im also in Toronto.

Was 3 person accommodation nicer than 2?

Did you bring euro or did a lot of places accept card?

Was the meet up awkward? Lmao. I can be awkward af and dread the first day of anything.
