I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It starts off slow, but gets really really good. The mistake of this trailer is it makes it seem as if most of it were in English, but they actually manage to balance the English and Japanese really well. The Yakuza stuff is really well done!

As someone fascinated with Japan and the Yakuza, I'm surprised I only learn about this show now, it looks really good!

As much as I hate to knock it, his Japanese just does not sound good to a native ear-- god bless the guy for trying and everything but there where times I simply didn't understand what it was he was saying as the pronunciation was so off. They really needed better language consultants for this gig.

Give me a season 2!!! Cast is incredible. A world we never get to see uncovered properly.

The show ends as if it is short one episode. Like the 'dénouement' is just around the corner in the season finale - that doesn't come. Totally ridiculous. Episodes 6 and 7 were going nowhere and all over the place at the same time. But then, in episode 8 it's almost like the script writers got their act together, but at the same time left us with tons of loose ends? Why?

If anyone is planning to watch this series.. I will highly recommend. You don't have to watch other reviews.... Great actors, great performance... U will not at all bored... Full packed underrated series

Just watched episode 1 and Iwas impressed.

The show is GREAT! But one thing i hated is ,the way they smoked. It wasn't natural at all ,none of them didn't do a good job especially Ansel. And smoking was a big part of every scene ,they should've done better.

This series was unbelievable and the talent of the actors is highly underrated.

Simply amazing, i trusted these positive comments here and watched the show and i was not dissapointed, i was left speechless at the end because i just wanted more ! Gladly there will be season 2. Ansel is so damn great and the rest of the cast too, must watch, this is a masterpiece.
