Omg so I was at a festival today to hang out with my Aunt before she flies back to her house and there was a furry in a wolf head and they randomly put their hand out to anyone they could see and after you fistbump them they ask for a photo then asked for my aunt to pay them after we took the photo. My aunt didn't know about the scam until after I told her about it

You were just way too nice. You did not have to pay them. There’s signs everywhere saying tipping is optional and plus it is your first amendment right to take pictures and videos of whatever you want. Or just way too nice.

Okay, I hate to give ‘em credit, but that Mickey costume with SpongeBob at the beginning looks very similar to the parks ones. Still looks slightly off though.

im a native New Yorker of 21 years I'm born and raised in this city and above all things other than the pollution ,mentally ill people , crimes , crazy people(the bad ones )and Mayor Eric F***ing Adams these people in costumes all cross New York not just New York City and all scamers that the New York State won't crack down on and ban this Motherf***ing task force is outrageous this is why I avoid this part of NYC at all cost unless I need to go there to get to somewhere else . I am talking about the area where the vast majority of where these scammers go and do their business . NOW I HAVE NO ISSUES OF PEOPLE DOING WHAT THEY NEED TO SURVIVE BUT THIS ISNT THE WAY . And yes I am a photo major and I could rant on the quality of the photos but I'm not focusing on that issue

This reminds me of this one time when my family went to California for a week. We had to stop buy because my sister wanted a boogie board. If you personally know me, you’d know that I don’t like shopping with others. So I just sat around in my car with my mom while my sis was with my dad shopping. Right in front of the parked car was this guy with a parrot. We saw him get paid by some random family for free. Oh, and I took pictures.
