I use fxsound on my Windows 11 and it doubled my audio volume, and cleared up my sound. I never realized how bad my audio was until I could hear the lead singers clearly. I don't use PC speakers, I connect the speakers you recommended and plug into the green port. You can hear my music a block away. I have 4 tower speakers in my setup and a subwoofer, but I really need to upgrade.

Sure, you could waste time and money finding that ultimate good speaker setup... when a decent pair of headphones does the job. Not everyone has - or wants - the ability to just blast out sound, maybe you don't want to annoy housemates/neighbours especially at the volume you need to simply hear the details headphones give. "bUt ThEyRe HeAvY oN mY hEaD aNd TeH wIrEs" Are you saying you can't figure out how to snake the cable around from a different direction so they aren't in the way? Granted, some cans are tensioned way too much but most are adjustable and there's ways of loosening them too. Throw in an EQ and you'll still spend way less than you'd need to for a speaker setup. There's comments mentioning absorbing foam and other shit, lol imagine needing to buy all those things and go through all that effort rearranging stuff in your room when heaphones basically negate the requirement entirely?

If you live in the middle of nowhere and can blast any volume you like, and you're made out of money, then sure why not, you can get a decent speaker setup. I'll settle for a nice EQ and a decent pair of cans, thanks. They're a lot more affordable and discreet.

i was running a full receiver and bookshelf, but that was too much when i ended up needing 3 monitors. I wnt back to my vanatoo t zero's and a normal sub. it's a great combo imo, i'm sure there are better but they are great imo.

The perfect PC speakers, with a budget, was the Logitech Z-2300. Those were THX certified and had a seperate volume control with base adjustment knob. The sound was awesome.

I'm looking for a new set of PC speakers that has all the features that the Z-2300 had. Any suggestions?

Very nice. I've been dealing with sad $11 speakers because my good ones were lost when I moved last.
It'll be nice to have a pair that accepts bluetooth from my phone but it's not a must as I got a 2nd hand battery powered ones.

I am now using Edifier R1700BT. I think, that you had them in the video. They are good enough. Though they were pretty bass heavy out of the box. But you can turn it down.

I used to be a headphone gamer for a long time, until I bought these super cheep speakers with a subwoofer at 5 and bellow for $10 (little above 5, I know) and I cant lie when I say that these cheap ass speakers are actually pretty good quality. They're not tinny, they don't sacrifice to much in sound range (at least not enough that its super noticeable), and, like I said, they're super cheep. The biggest downside with them is the obvious one of them not being so high quality that I think they last super long, not to mention they're super ugly with un synced RGB lights on each one with no option to turn them off. The subwoofer also has a bass up and down know that doesn't actually do anything as far as I can tell.

Studio speakers - especially external-amp ones - have the additional downside of taking up extra real estate.

I'm personally fine with just cheap speakers. CyberAccoustics' are good quality for what they are, and my previous set lasted 18 years before failing.
