I don't know why this isn't obvious to people. I think people overcomplicate this story. You had the original god of the land, the serpents that give death. That's why the sunken valley clan pray to it even though they are extremely susceptible to posion. You also have the Nightjar ninjas that drop bite downs, which kills you if used. Then you have the divine dragon which gives immortal life. Which the okami worship, the new god that was brought over from the west. The story of Sekiro is just illustrating how the divine dragon's power, this new god, is also just a giant snake that is posioning the land. The water that drips down from fountainhead corrupts the Ape we fight in the valley, more prominently corrupts the closer Mibu Village where the villagers cannot die and just keeps coming back, and the nobles of fountainhead.

Guts from berserk sounds kind of like shura for a few years in the manga. My favorite ending is the purification ending. It’s the noblest, and Kuro doesn’t have to be reborn.

i am still playing and i am trying to get the child to live because he is a shinobi who serves a master and his live is meaning less if he kills the child as protrayed a sculptor who craves buddha following in the footsteps of one who brought him back to life(talking about the sculptor who saved him)So we dont want that his life is meaning less he lost everything when he was a child and took in to be shinobi the one who serves by the owl so his childhood was destroyed. So ending his life would be noble as the divine heir would rule ashina as a gentle but strong rural as he has witnessed alot himself therefore saving the child is the only true ending because sekiro has done enough for his master he served him well he finished the cycle of immortality.

Genichiro is not evil, he is a desperate man trying to save the land that saved him by any means necessary. And also he doesn't embrace Shura, he drunk the rejuvenating waters to achieve resurrection

I wouldn't call this an explanation. If anything, it's your opinion on what the endings have in common. Misleading and click-bait, for sure. Anyone who wants an actual dissection of Sekiro's story, look up Vaati.

"The most evil character in the game"
Credibility: LOST.
Genichiro is not evil. He just has an undying loyalty to Ashina he is willing to give up everything including his humanity. In many ways he is just like sekiro.

This isn't explained, it's just a bunch of wrong theories and a guy with an incredibly annoyingly voice and stupid affectation aggressively mispronouncing Sekiro a hundred times

I think in the Shura ending, the text about the demon roaming in the lands refers to the Sculptor who became Demon of Hatred. In the Shura ending you cannot kill the Demon in the Ashina outskirts, and I doubt the ministry soldiers or Ashina warriors would be capable of that. And because no one killed the Demon of Hatred he roamed the land endlessly, destroying everything and killing everyone on its way, but deeply down wishing to die. But Sekiro is not here to kill him, he became a Shura, a probably even more terrifying beast.

95% of this video is pulled out of your ass and has no grounds in the content of the game.

I always love being called evil by a man who stabbed his own son in the back.

Ever have an ahah moment that just blowed your mind? Thank you for that my friend. It’s basically a multiverse. It explains enemy and character respawns. 🤯

I just got the Shura ending. Thought It was weird when I decided to side with my father, but I just slow him immediately after... kinda dumb but whatever.
