I want to know more about the passenger - is he an ex-racing driver?. The car is very different from the road version - very stripped out and with everything removed except the engine. The gearbox is sequential with straight cut gears, and the braking seems adjustable as well.

I have the impression that a Skyline R34 with the same power but the original chassis would perform better. This preparation looks bad and not at all homogeneous.

Assuming the trans doesn’t have an auto blipper snd needs clutch/throttle blip on a downchange, hence the fact it’s locking the tyres every time there’s a change to a lower gear.

Adding a blip would certainly have done a lot more than the left foot braking which, in anything other than the most serious of high performance GT cars and single seaters, does absolutely nothing for lap time.

The gearing / transmission doesn’t look smooth for this kind of circuit, especially low gears. You can see clearly it’s not a joy to drive it and the driver is having a hard time attacking and exiting corners.

looks like the gearbox isnt really set-up wel with the engine. dont know if it should do a blip-throttle when shifting down, if so, than for the lower gears it seems it not do enough and locks the diff. you could have tried some own blip-throttle when shifting down. the car seems far from dialed in. But yeah, for interested parties, the car is for sale i believe.

That car needs work to be pushed around a track, looks dangerous to drive no matter how skilled the driver is.
