Funny thing is I started doing this year's ago because my mouse feet/skids and mouse pad became old and worn out and I was feeling my mouse grip up so I learned to take the weight of the mouse to make it glide smoother. (I didn't have money to buy new feet/skids and mouse pad back then)

I already used my fingertips for guiding/placement and arm(elbow to wrist) as the extension that moves from my shoulder. These 3 parts require effort lesser sequentially, IYK,YK
Effort is not necessarily movement but rather adjustment frequency, and followed up with consistent awareness of the micro movements

I've been doing this for ages using fingertip grip, and it does make you more precise at aiming, I use the 'Razer Viper Mini' and it has a very high lift off distance.

wtf. I noticed an instant improvement. I've noticed that my left flicks were always better than my right. I had no idea that it was because I was intuitively doing this with my thumb. Now I'm implementing this technique with my pinky and ring finger on the right side of the mouse. Holy shit it was instant improvement. I feel like I have more control of my mouse now that I'm more conscious about this. This channel is fantastic.

Interesting. I've always aimed like this. Sometimes it feels like I lose some control since I can't grt my mouse as far as I need it to for further flicks though. So sometimes I adjust.

This is anything but "forgotten". I've been using this grip (or actually a very similar variant) since I was a young kid getting into games. Having contact with both mouse and mousepad makes it really easy to build muscle and tactile memory. I don't know if this is the most used grip or the one that anyone would feel more natural, but at the end of the day, anything that makes you comfortable is going to be the best option. Forcing yourself into other people's habits and bodies can be a bit counter-productive in my opinion.

I kept hearing about all these different grips, like Shroud's bent pinky, TenZ's "scorpion" grip, claw, finger tip, etc.
I've always done this grip since I started gaming on PC because it just feels natural. So I'm relieved to hear that I won't have to force myself to have bad games for the sake for learning a new grip.

I've been looking for a mouse where I can really just anchor my finger like that in front of the wheel G303 feels too small since i have big hands. I used to really like the g703 but it's a bit outdated at this point :/

Do you think having binds on your scroll wheel is bad for consistent aiming? I have weapon swap and jumping on it but I feel like aim would be more consistent if I keep my hand in its natural grip at all times

I feel like there are a Million Videos about which technique will make your aim the greatest thing since sliced bread, but the truth is you should go with what feels best for yourself. I 'forced' myself to play fingertip for a few months and it never felt as intuitive and natural as the Mix of Claw and Palm grip I have been using before. Videos like that can help try out new Things and help find the thing that is going to be perfect for you tho

I have to hold my mouse like this because my arm is disabled / paralyzed through a couple nerves, essentially my hand doesn't work properly. The extra points of contact make it possible to still play with a regular mouse.

I've been playing like this since i swapped from Deathadder to Viper Ultimate
Edit. For Apex Legends Jitter aim i suggest you have tip of your mice on jump pad and rest lifted, it just feels so good.

@Struth Gaming . You might want to buy a Razer viper ultimate, Viper v2 pro or Deathadder V3/V2. You can experiment with asymmetric cut-off with these mice for this aiming technique.

Hi mr. for an inconsistent aim like me. which always overshoot for aim while tracking, hipfire tracking issue. i would say i cant find my proper sens. and the ads i cant really decide default or reduce it. i know theres a lot of finding sens from people out there but i want to learn it from your way. Thank you.
