How to Change Link Color in HTML (change text color)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

The "remove underline from the link" part of the video was covered by the rectangular next video thumbnail.

So before I link the text I have a hover which will change the color of my text when the mouse cursor is there, but after I put the link in the text then I remove the underline and changing the text color to default, my hover doesn't work then even when my mouse cursor is there. Do you know why?
