Chris, is there a way to use separated midi events for each cell/pad using the same Groove Agent in track mode or do we need to go Rack mode and open several midi tracks?
Ответить谢谢!太有用了~
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the video Chris, it´s been very helpful. I´ve been doing this for my Superior Drummer 3 Midi and it all gets dissolved onto plenty of tracks, I was just wondering if it would be acceptable to give my producer these tracks all in stereo as the midi dissolve seems to do automatically and if it is necessary to combine say some of the snare tracks onto one snare track, am I overthinking it or is it enough just to send the tracks exactly the way they are dissolved ? (of course with consolidations so the tracks are aligned in time).
ОтветитьHi Chris,
Thanks for video.
I have a Question :
On Rendering the Virtual Drums process, in Options I "Muted Source Events", can I UNMUTE source (Virtual Drums) and HOW, cause I still need to do some adjustments with Virtual Drums?
Thanks in advance
🙂
HI FROM ITALY. OK I DID AS YOU DESCRIBED WITH SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3. BUT IF I WANT TO TRANSFORM IMMEDIATELY IN REAL TIME WITH RENEDER IN PLACE 3 MONO TRACKS (KICK, SNARE HI HAT) AND 2 STEREO (TOMS A OH).. HOW SHOULD I DO IT. I HAVE EXPERIMENTED BUT THE RESULT IS ALWAYS STEREO TRACKS! THANK YOU
ОтветитьChris - thanks for the video. I was wondering: I like to use a rack instance my Grove Agent, and after creating my single drum MIDI track, separate them into separate MIDI tracks via a drum map and the MIDI->Separate by Pitch function. I do this to preserve CPU /memory. My question here - can I apply audio vst effects like reverb, chorus, etc. to my MIDI tracks? - WITHOUT first bouncing them to audio?
ОтветитьI am your big Fan, Chris. I always learn a lot from you
Ответитьhello, but why do you bounce the mono signals in a stere file. cant you already bounce it in mono? cheers great explinations what you do
ОтветитьThanks Chris! This is a video I've been looking for. I always do dissolve midi part, and then I have to go name everything blah blah blah. Thanks for the help.
ОтветитьGreat video Chris !
For mixing don’t you need tracks at -12db
How can you do that ?
Thank You for this video Chris!!
ОтветитьJust learned more in 15 minutes than I have in last 2 years.
ОтветитьThank you, sir! Very usefull!
Ответитьjust excelent!
ОтветитьMy mind is blown.
ОтветитьThanks so much!
Ответитьgreat tutorial !!!
ОтветитьHi Chris, thanks a lot for the great videos! Just a quick question: Can we achieve the same result with Render in Place and exporting via Audio Mixdown (for those who do not have Cubase Pro and so don't have the Render in Place functionality)? Thank you!
ОтветитьThis video is $$! Thanks
ОтветитьGreat vid, that was a big help! Change virtual drums to WAV files was amazing learning! How can I do the opposite changing back the WAV files to virtual drums in case I want to change drum sounds or type? I’m guessing is simple but I’m new cubase user and trying to learn as I go? Thanks man
Ответитьwhy i render in place in one strereo track only..not in separate tracks
ОтветитьChris, thank you for this video. I have been looking everywhere and cannot find an answer so I thought I would post it here. Is there a way to record the individual instrument notes from Groove Agent 5 SE patterns (not the MIDI notes that trigger the pattersn) when using the styles options? Thank you for your time!
ОтветитьI use kontakt to do this. but it output the audio only 3 channels out of 5 what am I doing wrong? using cubase 10.5
ОтветитьAfter a multitrack recording in cubase , I realise the pitch is the sound recorded has been pitched up comparing to the originalperformance,I didn't do that tho .
Pls what happened and how can I solve such problem.

Wow! That's amazing!
ОтветитьI have Groove Agent 4 and do not have the option to Export Mixer with all of the settings, etc. Is this a GA 5 feature?
ОтветитьGreat stuff Chris.
ОтветитьUgh... this is blowing my mind with difficulty. I'm trying to figure out how to prep drum tracks from EZDrummer. Do I dissolve the part first? After I dissolve each part, how can I bounce to audio when EZDrummer already has pan settings on each instrument. Do I set all instrument channels to zero within EZDrummer before I bounce each part of the dissolved drum pattern?
I don't understand. HELP!!!
Absolutely brilliant video Chris!, many thanks!
ОтветитьChris, I was sent a drum track audio track and asked to convert this into a midi separate drum track. Is this possible in Cubase 12 pro? Help!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAwesome Video! 🤘🤘🤘
ОтветитьThis. Was. Awesome! Thanks man!
ОтветитьVery good stuff to know👍 In 15 minutes! Excellent video Chris. Thanks again ✌
ОтветитьTwo thumbs up!! Chris you always give a home run ⚾️ with your teaching. Chris can you please explain the real function of an Envelope Shaper?
Ответитьam i the only one that thinks the cubase's render in place settings are completly anti intuitive confucing and kinda retarded

ОтветитьHi Sir...
I don't understand how people incorporate their system audio in a HD format within the screen recording, while using an external audio interface.....
I tried with OBS studio..., about which people give good reviews...
I've switched many settings over and again.
Pls suggest a better option to get it done.
This was so helpful!
ОтветитьHi Chris, thank you for these very informative videos! Please keep sending them out!
My question: I received a audio project with multiple audio tracks and I imported them into Cubase pro11. Now I want to sync all the tracks to a project tempo so I can add tracks like virtual drums, drum/bass loops etc. - that will be in sync with the audio. The audio tracks also need to be tightened up and corrected first I see how to sync audio with one track but what is the best workflow for multiple tracks?
Thank you Sir. It works for my Superior Drummer 3.
ОтветитьWhat a channel! thank you for every second of video 🙏🏽
ОтветитьThanks for the good info. But wouldnt it be better to have mono audio tracks for the drums? That would be more similar to real drum recording right?
ОтветитьHi Chris, one issue with the Dissolve part is that it generates more instances of the virtual instrument on each track, which is now overloading the system and therefore, not rendering efficiently. It's a bummer you can't do step one with an instrument track as that's the way I've been working. Not used to midi tracks but maybe will have to change. Thanks for the vid.
ОтветитьGreat video! I do have a question. I noticed in the video that the rendered audio tracks are in stereo. I would have thought they should be mono tracks. Is it better to have them in stereo? Thanks.
ОтветитьWhy do you render them in audio tracks? What s the treason, why can`t I leave them as midi? Does it sound better?
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьThanks for the tips. What is the Edison lightbulb on you desk for? Thanks.
