Hi. I know the video is old, but I have a question for people who have the original cable. Could someone measure the plastic element in the original cable that goes into the headphone housing? I mean its height and diameter. I would like to choose a matching plug, because I lost the original cable for XM4

The greatest let down with 4 series is that they DONT have the Surround (VPT) function in the App which allows you to use different sourrounds like concert, club etc that series 3 had !!😢

One annoying factor of the mx3 is that if you wear glasses they do hurt as they are tight. Are the mx4 the same? Or they more compatible with glasses

The xm5's are not better than the xm4's and the xm3's are about the same as the xm4's, sooooo no reason to update ever.

MX3 Problems (that makes it the WORST headset ever made) :
1. You can not use the headphones while they are charging. (In video conference you hear "battery low", you have to start looking for another headset to continue)
2. Slooooooooooooow power on + connect. It takes almost a minute for the headphones to be usable, 10-15s for just to boot, then 20-30 for bluetooth and all this time the headphones are shouting into your "power xx" "Bluetooth connected" so you can not hear anything else.
3. micro USB not usb-c , although using magnetic USB cables make this not a problem (if the cable you buy has both heads)
4. No mic mute button !!!!! WTF ????? Eveb the 5€ headset has that.

ANC, xm4 > xm3, no doubt.

Is it comfortable for long time wear with glasses?

Does anyone have experience using any of these headphones in a "hybrid" mode, or if it possible at all? I mean plugging the audio cable to the PC for listening audio only, while still maintaining the BT connection with a phone, so when there is a call on the phone, the headphones can switch to that input source? In my workplace it's fine to use the headphones in wired mode with the PC, but I wouldn't want to fidget around when there is an incoming call. The XM3 is pleasantly cheaper than the XM4, but only the XM4 supports BT multipoint. If the "hybrid" mode is not something that could work, then the XM4 with a BT adapter on the PC would be the way to go, even if more expensive... Thanks for answering!

Im currently on Bose 35. With a new Sony phone im looking at Mx3 or 4.
Would mx3 be a decent upgrade? Or go all way to Mx4?

Best comparison ever, in all terms

Im confused which one is best for me. I like bass in my music but I don't like it to be super bass heavy but where ever i read reviews, they focus on comparing xm3 having more bass than xm4 but i wanna know if the xm4 packs enough enjoyable bass or not??
As much as I don't want super bass heavy, i also don't wanna hear high pitched voices or guitars as the super dominant sound.
What would your advice be with this? Xm3 or xm4?

I'm looking for bluetooth headphones with very good microphone audio to use in work video conferences. I was hoping that I could just get the XM4's and not buy separate ones with a microphone arm. However, thankfully, this video answered my main question - does the microphone audio quality on XM4's and other top line BT headphones without a microphone arm still suck? Answer: it still is surprisingly poor, the tinny sound quality is near horrible.
