Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThis video was really helpful for fixing my mixer
ОтветитьtHANK yOU sOOOO much!!!
ОтветитьThank you, now I can repack my daughter's mixer.
ОтветитьI have an older Hobart Kitchenaid K5SS Mixer. It's not leaking, but I was looking for instructions on how to replace the grease. I know it will last a long time, but how often do you recommend replacing the grease or what would be the clues to re-grease the mixer?
ОтветитьIt could be helpful to hear the difference between the sound of a well oiled mixer versus an other with a lack of oil. Thanks
ОтветитьI am having trouble getting the pin out. Any suggestions?
ОтветитьGreat video tutorial. More power !!
ОтветитьGreat video, very well done and i'm sure you saved me a lot of money in repair cost. Thank you so much!!
ОтветитьThank you! Was worried this would cost a lot to fix, but all it cost me was some grease and a bit of time. Excellent walk through of the procedure.
ОтветитьExcellent video, exactly what I wanted. Clear explanation. Thanks for taking time to do the video.
ОтветитьThank you! I have needed to do this for quite a while. This was a pain and a dirt job as he stated, but at least my mixer isn't leaking any longer.
ОтветитьBy leaving some of the "old" grease behind will it cause the new grease to degrade or dissolve? I know in the automotive world not all grease is compatible with other types of grease. I'll assume this would be an important consideration if one was not using the OEM grease.
ОтветитьSo helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat size roll punch do I need to purchase for this repair? Thanks, JB
ОтветитьLoved the video. You make it look so easy. I assume this video works for the KitchenAid Artisan? I priced the grease at $44.00 for that sized tub. Can you tell me more about the grease and where it can be purchased.
ОтветитьThank you. This was a very good video all around. Step by step without any nonsense.
ОтветитьSafety first, disconnect from electricity...
ОтветитьAs others have said, very clear and simple step-by-step directions. I was able to follow easily and complete the repair with no problems. Thanks!
ОтветитьCan't get any better than this...Simple to understand, Step by step, from the beginning to the end... 10 out of 10 Perfect "SCORE" from me!!! Keep up the Good Work!!!
ОтветитьThank you. Clear, concise and thorough instructions. Great tips! Just saved me a trip to the repair shop. Excellent video!!
ОтветитьGreat quality video, straight to the point directions. Our decades old machine is ready for another few decades. Thanks!
ОтветитьYou really saved me a lot of money. My 30 + year old mixer works great. Thank you.
ОтветитьVery helpful. I used this to work on the exact model. Thank you!
Ответитьthanks for share ... is excellent your video.
ОтветитьI have a Kitchen Aid Classis and it is growling. whenever I increase the speel it spins slower and you can actually smell the grease.
ОтветитьExcellent step by step video. I only had one problem. the planetary was very tight on the shaft. I had difficulty removing it. But quite a bit of difficulty replacing the planetary after I had replaced the grease. The shaft would move up into the motor head preventing the holes to completely align. I finally had the holes somewhat aligned. I used a finish nail to pry the shaft down. Also, my mixer is so old it didn't have a removable strain release so I had to remove the wires from the motor. Great tips of things to pay attention to.
ОтветитьExcellent video...I hope my husband never has to do it.
ОтветитьI changed my grease and now there's no power what did I do wrong
ОтветитьThanks. Your instruction was very helpful.
ОтветитьVery informative! Your hint about how to rotate the planetary shaft to get that top on is a great tip! I wish I'd watched your video first..........it would have saved a lot of wrestling.
ОтветитьExcellent and very informative. I was able to use this to rescue our old Kitchen Aid. It had been leaking for some time--we even replaced it and I was already to the door of the dumpster with it when I thought I'd check You Tube. So glad I found this video and it explained everything so clearly that I was able to disassemble the unit, go on Amazon and order grease, and within a week I was able to provide this unit to my daughter. SHE is thrilled--she has a great $300+ mixer now for free!
If I had seen this earlier I would have saved ourselves from buying a new mixer.
Thanks for a great job.
Does anyone else that has done this feel that there is entirely too much grease being used on the upper gears? I think the proof is when you pull it apart and a vast majority of the grease has been slung off the gears and well away from any useful location. It then begins to separate over time and create an oil leak. It seems to me enough to lubricate shafts and cover gear teeth would be sufficient.
ОтветитьThanks for the great instructions :)
ОтветитьVery helpful Thanks
ОтветитьExcellent, well defined instructions!
ОтветитьThank You !!!
ОтветитьMy mixer is a RRK150ww will this fix work with my model?
ОтветитьThanks...great instructional video. Where can I get the food grade grease. I live in a small area and have checked all of the hardware stores..nothing.
ОтветитьShould the replacement grease be a nice light green color? The replacement Benalene I received in the can was a dark brown. Did I get a bad batch? What grease are you using? Thanks for a great, simple, clear video.
Ответитьhi... awhile back I tilted the head of the moxer and some oil leaked under its neck. Do I have to replace that oil,or is that melted grease?
ОтветитьYou are a natural teacherI, and I LOVE your videos!! My 15-year old KA stand mixer has been leaking oil around the decorative/finishing band for quite some time now, and at least I now know why and how to remedy it when I'm up to it! And you are absolutely correct...my mixer has done more sitting that being used throughout the years. The fact that the oil that leaks is thin makes it pretty clear that the grease has separated. Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьMine has been leaking for some time. Decided to google a repair tip and found your video. Very helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьNeed help. Followed easy instructions. Worked well until putting housing on. As I flipped it over to put back on, a large gear fell into the new grease. I can't figure out where it came from. It is a flat head gear with inch long post with square opening. This square female open obviously goes on some post that I can't locate. Anyone?
ОтветитьEXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
ОтветитьI just fixed my kitchen aid! Thanks a lot for your very good video. regards from switzerland
Great video! My husband and I did this and everything went smoothly. Thank you!
Ответитьexcellent job
ОтветитьVery clear and easy to follow. Thank you.
