Doesn't work for me. Disk doesn't spin at all. I must have a different problem. Shit.

I already got my driver placed and I used this strategy and it didn’t work. Is there a problem with there being the desk drives being serialized or something? Do I have to put the original one back in? It did have a broken part in it, which is one of the reasons why we replaced it, but it was always not working for about a year now.

Perfect solution. In my case, the disk began to install but was interrupted before going to thr green screen of death. After it eventually restarted, I stayed on the "choose profile" screen for a bit before the game installed in thr background. Now it runs without issue every time
