What To Do If Your Gaming PC WONT BOOT!

My pc literally won’t open the settings app and when I go to steam it only works in big picture mode

The power light is on but nothing moving or turning on anyone help

what if Boot lights up, the fans are spinning, the rgb lights are working but you have no display? I troubleshooted PC for a very long time, to a point that I even setup PC outside of the case (in case of any shorts) and booted with 1 stick of ram. Only 24pin, cpu cables connected. no gpu. starting system with screwdriver. just cpu ram psu and motherboard, not even hard disk connected. tried every single dimm slot, with both ram. same result, “boot” led lights up, no display. I plugged in display cables to gpu, tried different cables, different monitors, nothing worked, boot led light up. tried different drives, new m.2, sata ssds that had windows installed on it, only 1 drive at a time. nothing changed. cleared cmos after each attempt on shutdown system.

I spent days trying to fix my pc to turn on fully. My friend comes over, flips the power switch and presses the power button on top, and it turns on.

I started at him with lots of confusion

Thank you so much for this video. I forgot to plug in the front panel that controls the physical power switch and thought I destroyed my CPU while adding a new CPU cooler. Started unplugging and replugging everything in and noticed in minutes. A thousand thanks man!

So today i just got my new pre build pc and it just doesn't do anything at all. Except if i pull out the cables on my gpu than thosr 2 red lights will turn on but that's all

Man I have tried everything taking of my gpu trying the integrated graphics tried all the ram sticks , one ram stick the vga light still on and my pc won’t boot any one have any insight ?

So I updated and it went black simply unplugged removed ram swapped chomper on cmos an bam back in business

Anyone know what to do with my issue? Pc turns on fans spin (not cpu but gpu+ case fans do spin) and it turns itself off and back on

My PC is on and I installed windows but I skipped booting the bios and went to windows accidentally. So I updated windows and restarted my PC and I'm stuck on "getting windows ready do not restart your PC."

i had a bsod and i tried to turn on my pc but i didnt get any signal. can anyone help?

Had a power outage.
Windows was freezing constantly especially under heavy CPU load.
Reseated everything and then Windows wouldnt even boot!

I did notice my RGB memory flashing though.

Took out one stick and it booted fine and so far no freezes.
Looks like a stick is bad and off to find 1 stick of 16GB since I am sick of 2 and having issues.
This PC is open case mounted in a virtual pinball cabinet with a subwoofer and bass shaker so the less hardware the better.

I was panicking at the sight of my computer being entirely black; the power connector wasn’t plugged in the entire way lol

my old pc (i was have this pc no for play just for some thing) but 2 years ago pc was working like geiming but ater 1year pc get sloe and late very slow now in this year pc dont work (dont turning onł XD how to fix it i was loking everywhere ram and itp is alright but the Windmills work only XD

Please allow me to tell you the issue that I've with my motherboard.

So, 1 and half year ago, I purchased a Asus ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi motherboard. Once I get started to use it, It works fine few months without any issue. After 7/8 months, in a rainy day, the PC didn't power of. But I could see the RGB lightings that comes with the motherboard is on when I pass the power from my PSU.

Since that day, one of a tech guy advice me a way to power on the PC if that occurs. As he said, I have to put a 100v bulb on the top of the processor fan until it heats and then when I press the power button on the case, the PC is turning on.

I'm asking this, I need a long-term solution to fix this issue. Because, Due to this issue, I don't power off my PC if I turn the PC on by that explained way above.

Please kindly read this comment and I'm really waiting for a solution for this issue from you.

Hey guys I need help I tried to enable secure boot in bios and I rebooted and it just has no signal or input to monitor keyboard and mouse I tried the resetting the cmos battery plugging my HDMI into integrated graphics and more and it still isn’t working.

It takes me 2 try’s to start my pc. And it crashes very often but it has no virus

Pc wont turn on, jumpstarting wont work. No lights no fans moving . Only motherboard rgb light on because PSU is switched on and there is some electricity in it even if its not turned on)

I got an issue where power on button does nothing sometimes, and sometimes my pc turns on.

Didn't fix it for me my PC was up and running with no problems till I installed red devil rx6800xt

once I don't turn on my PC everyday it won't turn on what I have done twice so far is removed things one by one still no power clear CMOS remove battery put it all back together press power button nothing sometimes I leave it after all that then it wa power on my it self minutes later ..help needed here please

What happens if you ran a pc with a broken cpu? Will the fan still work?

I've not played my pc in a few months everything was working fine before and I've tried turning it on.. lights come on but keyboard and mouse no power and no connection to monitor... monitor works with my ps and mouse and keyboard work
