You should use the ballistas, there’s 3 of them, and you should use the blaze canisters to your advantage as wel (3 stacks). And you could play forbidden West a little and learn some strategies against Thunderjaws: shoot the weak spots (all its weapons and containers). After all that it doesn’t have much HP left. Then go for the protective plates covering the heart and go for the heart.
In the mean time, keep moving and dodging and eat lots of apples.

I played this the first time and man my heart was racing

i like the view in the game,but i am not sure about that i am going to use VR2 to play the games yet

I realized there’s in between those buildings it can send you up and ontop there’s these huge crossbows that do some damage for those struggling to beat him

Every robot before it has a souvenir you can pull off but I can't figure out which part it is on the thunderjaw. Does it not have one? Pretty hard to believe so I must be missing something

If you hadn’t realised there are three ballista points around the arena you can use to put out some serious damage on it. I only realised once it was already down to about one third health. Annoyingly once it finally did die it fell right on top of the chest / lever so I couldn’t interact with either of them so couldn’t progress. Not sure if I’ll have to redo the fight or if I travel back it will have moved.

Weird thing just happened as I played this fight... it all of a sudden went into slow motion and I couldn't get it to stop. I could see my hands move, but none of the controls worked, could fire arrows and couldn't shuffle sideways. I restarted from the checkpoint and then it did it again. Really pissed me off too because I had him down to about 25% health. Anyone else have this happen here? And this is the 1st time playing that this happened.
