So, apparently the opinions are half and half on whether or not this lady is talking bullshit. If people are paying money for this, I surely hope she's being sincere. I can't stand how she's waving away her patients concerns and tiptoeing around their specific questions. If she's promoting general meditation, then she's not explaining that. Only hardcore hippies would understand what she's talking about at first listen. Most people are layman, so she's doing those patients a deep disservice by not going into enough depth. It's not the responsibility of the patients to understand what you're talking about. Especially if they're paying for it and wishing to get something out of it.

I started listening to this to calm down and get sleepy every night but now she's starting to make sense and I find myself the ASMR is not working and have to listen to other ASMR sites for that, weird.

Oh my gosh! She’s basically talking about childhood trauma and how it affects your adult life. You don’t realize it when you’re a child because…well, you’re a child, but the traumas you face as a kid condition you. And over time, that conditioning becomes so second nature to you, that you believe it’s just part of your personality, it’s just who you are, when I’m reality, it is only how you were conditioned, not who you actually are. Then when you’re an adult and you’re wondering why certain things bother you the way they do, or why you react the way you do, you believe it’s because of those immediate circumstances and rather than because of how you were condition during your childhood. Her use of the terms of consciousness and presence are understandably confusing because they don’t describe what it actually is. Consciousness could be swapped for “your perception of who you are” and presence could be swapped for “awareness of how you’re coping with your immediate situation and why you’re coping with it the way that you are”. Obviously, one word is better than whole phrases. So it’s understandable why she uses those terms.

I find the mens voices actually really soothing from this video. The distant responses in the beginning of the video and then the guy she is engaging with more directly later in the video. The way they picked up the sound made them all so soothing.
