jQuery Validation Plugin

this was not helpful without knowing where to put validation rules and messages

can we use this plugin for multiple step form? if yes then how can we validate each step individually?

I wonder who else is using this library in 2022 :) I guess most of the devs have moved on to modern JS framework.

If I have a multilanguage site, should I attach all the <script> tags in all languages (as an include file probably)? or manually for every language version page I attach the respective <script> OR... trust on a website translation services, automatically, they say the machine translates also JS and PHP strings and also validation and error messages of forms and other printed info generated dinamically. What‘s your opinion? Thanks.

Other thing: How can I validate a set radio-buttons, within the “RULES”, considering that the option to choose is always one? Required: true }, but how do I tell to the DOM or the JS file that "User must select one option mandatory”.

Ok, I tried with the DEFAULT message which is "This field is required." for all fields, and it is rendered (like append) right after the first radio button before its label! Should I do some CSS to arrange the position? Or where should I place the customized error message to target the whole set of radio buttons and not confuse the user? Thanks a lot.

where is your jquery.validate.js ? how about the "styles.css" , you dont include it specifically in your github

Is there an updated example code for Bootstrap 4 by chance? For example
Replaced .has-error, .has-warning, and .has-success classes with HTML5 form validation via CSS’s :invalid and :valid pseudo-classes.
Not sure how we would take advantage of the pseudo-class instead of .has-success
