I've never used supplements and I've always been the strongest and biggest guy in the gym, its all due to eating whole foods and working out with high intensity, very short rests between sets, not playing with my phone and taking several minutes between sets. Supplements are all snake oil

Hello there, currently loosing weight because of depression, I just can't eat properly anymore. It's is safe if I start drinking hypercaloric shakes besides having protein shakes a day in order to keep up with my loss of appetite??

I don't have belly fat, and my intention to bulk up. Right now I am slim/ish strong body type, body I've noticed that I am loosing weight according to the scale based on my overall loss of appetite.

All good information but.. I've heard/read you need to drink 3 - 4 l of water every day for it to be effective.. Still wondering if thats actually true... I tried to but couldn't or couldn't bring myself to drink that much water.

Magnesium citrate:

This product is used to clean stool from the intestines before surgery or certain bowel procedures (such as colonoscopy, radiography), usually with other products. It may also be used for relief of constipation. However, milder products (such as stool softeners, bulk-forming laxatives) should be used whenever possible for constipation.Magnesium citrate is a saline laxative that is thought to work by increasing fluid in the small intestine. It usually results in a bowel movement within 30 minutes to 3 hours. Read and follow all directions on the product package. If your doctor has directed you to use this product before surgery or a bowel procedure, your doctor should tell you how long before the surgery/procedure you should take this product. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. To improve taste, this product may be chilled in the refrigerator before use. Do not freeze.

Dosage is based on your medical condition, age, and response to treatment. Drink a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) after taking this product unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Doing so will help prevent serious side effects (such as dehydration).

If this product is used too often, it may cause loss of normal bowel function and an inability to have a bowel movement without using the product (laxative dependence). If you notice symptoms of overuse, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, decreased weight, or weakness, contact your doctor promptly.

Avoid taking tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics (such as doxycycline, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin) within 2 hours before or after this product. Doing so may decrease the effect of the antibiotic.

Eat decent food for God's sake. Back in the days of the 50's & 60's, none of this stuff was around. And if they did supplement, most of it was of a properly natural source. Plus, there are plenty of 'big dude' around the place who are vegan and do zero supplementation.
As to science, that has brought the earth to its knees, in a pile of shit!
Personally, I have nothing but a seething contempt, for 'science'.

Look I’ll make this super simple all these videos what you should do and what you shouldn’t do😩 me and my brother were fat slobs (losers) in school always making excuses and losers make excuses, winners exceed goals. So we would eat the biggest pack of turkey meat our local supermarket had for breakfast witch was 3 pounds we would work out 3x a day every two hours we would drink our protein shakes blah blah. After school we worked out again then go home do school work then gym again and then eat 6 pound a of turkey again in less than a year we had the body’s we wanted girls were all over us, everyone else wanted to know what we did and the school tested us for steroids. We never took any other kind of supplements, except for your basic Walmart bought protein powder. We went from being obese, losers that everyone made fun of in 10th grade. By the 11th grade year no one knew who we were because we had changed that drastically. 12th grade year we were deemed the two most athletic people in the school.

5 grams of creatine any time of the day will help with a little edge in the gym, which is fantastic. The study that shows pre and post workout creatine consumption did in fact find a difference in muscle gains. 1.3 percent more lean tissue gains from pre workout creatine, and 3 percent for post workout creatine when compared to taking creatine regularly, as in just right when you wake up, however there was no difference in maximal strength. Now creatine is going to have a small effect either way, it's just a bit of an edge, so theres really no need to take it pre/post workout unless you want to. Just having it with the morning shake is fine. You don't even need creatine to build muscle, again, it's a small percentage of a boost where proper training and diet whats going to give you the best results.

BE WARNED...!! Creatine is fine if you are healthy ... i used to use creatine before i was taken ill and now i have a life long health issue with no cure... Rheumatoid arthritis and i take a lot of medication now, i started back at the gym 12 months ago and decide i would go back on creatine along with my daily dose of whey .... within a week i was taken sick and had a relapse and was off my feet for two weeks, this was about the time it takes for a wash out. I have not taken creatine since and i am almost back to remission. So it seems creatine has an adverse reaction with the medication i take so i say be very careful with creatine if you are on medication check with your health professional first.
