ESO Beginner Rotation Guide (Greymoor) - How to Build and Use your Rotation

I feel like I'm not great at maximizing for group play, but I usually make a very solid solo rotation. I have a hard time giving up survivability in my damage roles.

I usually just play with what I like, and make sure it's relatively low threat if I'm in a damage role. I accidentally taunted a boss yesterday because I'd forgotten to remove my threat beforehand, and that was way more of a setback than the non-optimal synergies and stuff. Damn you, muscle memory!

Which build is best for not having to do rotations? I came here from Oblivion/Skyrim where each encounter with enemies can be dealt with by however you feel at the time, sneaky stabby, shouts, mace in the face, magic fire attack, magic frenzy etc whereas my experience of eso so far seems to be find an enemy press your buttons in a set order, find another enemy press the buttons in the same order again, find another enemy.....yep buttons in the exact same order again.... Does it ever get like, awesome fun? Or is it forever a "button press order simulator"? Maybe thats just the way mmo's are, i dont have much experience with them tbh all i know is my risk of getting an RSI is in danger of being a lot higher than the level of fun im having.
I really want to enjoy the game, maybe im approaching it wrong.

Or alternatively i guess i could just put whatever attacks i want on the bars and just enjoy the game and not worry about elitists telling me im playing it wrong lol

Thanks for the wonderful video, I tried switching my rotation around using the tips you gave and my DPS increased by 10k.

Do pets go away when swapping? I have my healer guy on my necro for the damage mitigation n he seems to stick around

I really love your videos. I was hoping that you could please do a beginners guide to Champion Points and how to place them with the characters? For instance, if you have a Nord Tank or a Breton DPS, etc.

So I'm kinda curious about gear. Why is mother sorrow bis for mag, but nobody uses leviathan for stam?

My Internet and the eso network has made it impossible make a reliable rotation...

I would say always have a self heal. Maybe you can drop it when grouped with guildies or others who you can see know what they are doing. It just seems like it is always a helpful thing to have and might save you from needing to be rezed a million times :)
