Those who are facing issues with connecting to router, first press the Reset button for 10 seconds. Once the LED turns green, the quickly connect the Camera to the router immediately.

I bought this model 4 months ago, everything is good, except the recording sound, because of the strange noises. In any case, I wouldn't buy this camera again.

Can't get it to connect to wifi. Round and round in circles. Sending it back.

I have these cameras however since getting a new router (same as the last one) I now cannot connect to any of my cameras it's saying it can connect to the hotspot and when I do find the camera it asked for a password I've not set yet

I've spent over an hour trying to get this working!!! I have an IMOU Ranger 2C and after I scan the device through the app it gets stuck on Connecting to the device hotspot... and that is as far as it goes! Tried resetting it multiple times. When adding it manually I get failed to connect to the hotspot device please try again 😞if anyone has any solutions I'd be very happy to know before I use it in my next baseball throw practice!

i just changed my router, green light flash, i connected 2.4ghz, but when it reaches the final page of setup "The device is connecting to the cloud" , timer runs out and it failed. may i know how to troubleshoot this?

I bought 2 IMOU cameras for the first and last time.
They make updates every 2 weeks.
Until the moment they installed me for the last time without allowing them the last update.
Now the sd card doesn't work anymore, it asks me to format it every time I log in and any notification pops up.
Although I wrote to them about the problem, I did not receive any reply.
The camera is still good, but it's annoying and I gave up on it, the outdoor one.
They update until the moment you can't use SD card anymore because they shove their paid online storage area down your throat.
And so you can't download any recording from the card to the phone.
Better in terms of price, quality and many options are those from Xiaomi.

never ever again to buy one by imou! no webinterface, that means you are forced to use their app, which is usable only if you pay them monthly! onvif is just barely existing without any real implementation for external recording abilities if you dont have a semi-pro NVR, IF you find out what the user and password is to login.

for future idiots like me who bought that crap. try default user ADMIN and the password on the camera itself, labeled SecurityCode, which is not secure at all. once you registered it into the app, they have access forEVER, which beats the purpose of security.

Q---- CONTINUALLY FAILS! when it scans QR code, it just says failed QR not valid. Light blinks green until this point then red.

Q---- there is no extra jack.

Q-----WHERE IS THE REST BOTTON? There is not one? Unplug it?

Once I set up for wifi and contact camera with it then I can change my wifi settings means can I connect it with another wifi connection ?

What causes the imou camera to become offline

ye mobile se connect nahi ho raha hai or n hee inka koi customer care number mil raha hai aap iska customer care number provide kraye, baar baar restart huwe jaa raha hai ye.

I have a total of 5 Imou cameras so far, they are fantastic value for money and so easy to set up and use.
Easily as good quality as the more expensive cameras such as ring at a fraction if the price.
