You'd think by now people would have got the message instead of waving their flags and beating their chests about satanic conspiracies. Smashing the system would put us all back in the stone age. Personally, I think there's a better time coming through technology, so long as we don't let religious zealots and paranoid conspiracy theories destroy it all.
ОтветитьThat's the world we live in now.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite movie scene of all time.
ОтветитьTHIS MOVIE NEEDS A REMAKE. Step for step, word for word! ATONE!!!! 🤪

Neoliberalism and Crony Capitalism at its finest
ОтветитьUpdate 2023: Its much much worse than this
ОтветитьYep
ОтветитьHere from Better Call Saul
ОтветитьTo the people in this thread praising the system... don't mistake globalism for globalization, they are two opposite things.
ОтветитьBack when Hollywood had balls and studios supported these ideas. Incredible. Hard facts.
ОтветитьCapitalism is good.
Problem is people don't know what they want.
So they just try to get it all.
2023 and it’s evident Ned was correct!!!
ОтветитьTruth is They Live we Sleep
ОтветитьKlaus schwalb recommends this movie
ОтветитьINCOMPLETE!!!!!!!!! HE WAS ABOUT TO SAY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS MOVIE IN FRONT OF THE TV CAMERAS AND LIVE AUDIENCE!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThe world today runs off prioritized information. The calculations are more advanced, but datasets are currency. The more complex the dataset, the higher the value for the simplified version.
Truly, wealth is no digital or physical footprint....just everyone and everything else's.😊
Think 🤔 in therms of elites rather than corporations. The elites own the system we live in.
ОтветитьA world that puts profits first already traded truth for lies long ago.
ОтветитьThis is the World.
ОтветитьIt absolutely IS absolutely satanic. You're a clown if you think this is some speech about generalities of corporatism. Esoteric corporatism is a manifestation of satanism. Willing blindness to the nature of reality.
ОтветитьI like that they pinned the worst response in the comments section that totally misses the point
ОтветитьTrajera naranja espieza más dificil local
ОтветитьThis movie feels like proto-cyberpunk. It has that Verhoeven Robocop Starship Troopers vibe.
ОтветитьBrilliant scene. Just live your life because there's nothing we can do.
ОтветитьWho is the Mad Hatter?
Ответить@EvieBoleynLyon
The people you disrespectfully call "paranoid conspiracy theorists"...
Are people who see the truth and refuse to ignore it.
I wonder what evie boleynt thinks today...
ОтветитьHow he went from somewhat normal to bat shit maniacal to so self importantly calm.
That was one of the best bits of acting I have ever seen.
Dr. Tom Cowan: RFK, Jr. = trustworthy.
ОтветитьThis is a movie that needs to be watched, then rewatched, then watched again, over and over. It is way too prescient. Paddy Chayefsky was a genius.
ОтветитьAs we head into yet another totally worthless election year in which -- no matter who wins -- nothing will really change, this scene is more correct now than ever. Ironic how "Network" came out in 1976, the Bicentennial year of the American revolution and birth of our now mockery of democracy.
ОтветитьPaddy Chayefsky was brilliant. Prescient.
ОтветитьExactly
ОтветитьIt's almost unfathomable that this speech precedes the internet by over a decade. It exactly describes our world today
Ответить💯👍
Ответить“Techonology will save us.” That’s right, the system that got us to kill millions of people in the global south through climate change will be the same system that solves it. It’s capitalism, you fools. You know what’s a greater incentive than money? Your life and the wellness of your community. We won’t get there tomorrow, and we may fail, and millions may still die, but we can’t remain hopeless. Otherwise, what’s the point of sticking around. Take care of yourself and others. No one is going to do that for you.
ОтветитьLol So many Lefties losing it in the comment section 😂🤣🙃 Any one of them would sell you and you're entire family out for a leg up.
People don't make the world go round...only power. And what gives you power? Money.
They're just pissed that it's not them with all the power 🤪
*Stakeholder capitalism enters the scene
Ответитьwhy cant respond the pinned comment? i want to tell him that he is wrong.
ОтветитьA beautiful speech that, at one point in my life, I had memorized by heart. It hits on many truths, but it is, in the final analysis, a snow job that the elite ruling class is still shoving up our collective asses to this day: e.g. free enterprise is a "law of nature" (or of God), we no longer have ethnic/racial/cultural identities, democracy is dead, and unfettered capitalism-industrialism leads to utopia.
ОтветитьBiden and Schwab IRL
ОтветитьThis is the explanation of the nature of the mark of the Beast. An ecumenical economy enslaving and serving all of mankind.
Ответитьepic speech )
ОтветитьElon believes that
government
is a corporation with
no standing to provide
and enforce laws.
So American laws are invalid.
And he can do as he pleases.
This ties directly into
his love of that pervert
Alistair Crowley's
"Do as thou wilt."
Scumbags.
Of course no laws apply
to that entitled crap head.
Imagine any modern Hollywood writers trying to create a scene like this today. I think they might fall a bit short lol.
ОтветитьHe sold him his idelogy, his world view, his dream... and the silly man actually bought it. Truly an amazing salesman lol
ОтветитьI'm just sick. Great scene.
