Now I'm curious if one could keep the meteor storm active until the entire map has become one giant rock and what happens then. Theoretically, this should prevent all raids if they can't enter/land anywhere 🤔

I mean, Goose being leader makes sense. Every goose I’ve ever had contact with definitely wants to be in charge! I’m loving this run so far, I might have to try out Winston some time myself.

pretty sure someone dunked on the empire(unknown probs mechanoids) so they had too run too this rimworld, but yeah the bases kinda suck, there should be some really powerful bases that are like special fortresses, they have like 100 cataphracts, and there are like healer serums are other OP loot

I don't like wealth management, but I do wish there were other things that scaled the difficulty in such a way I could "get ahead" or fall behind

Talking about the Empire camps, the US military has quick building kits that can be carried in planes, and come with generators and equipment. A kitchen, hospital, and barracks could be set up in a day. Basically all you need is somewhere to land a plane, and enough people capable of following the instructions, and following instructions is basically the whole point of an organized military.

Between drop pods and shuttles, in Rimworld the Empire could easily do the same. If they were worried about it being stolen, they already have death acidifiers on the soldiers, they'd just need a equivalent for any equipment, or just some orbital bombardment on any base they lose.

I know the feeling. You play in the jungle biome, there is a dry storm you forget about because you're focused on your base, and before you know, you zoom out and half the map has burned down.

Do you have written guides on your discord or website that go over how all these various killboxes should be constructed and which enemy types they are intended to deal with? I've watched the guide video a few times but it seems like you set up more types of defenses than it covers.

I'd love to see future challenge runs feature a single mod, kind of like a showcase
Like a Rancher challenge run with the mod Alpha Animals
A Raider style challenge run with the vanilla base generation expanded
or a challenge run with Vanilla expanded factions - mechanoids with the mods Total War mechanic enabled
of course it all depends on the numbers :S

I've always imagined Glitterworld to be like Trantor, the capital planet of the Galactic Empire in Asimov's Foundation series, but during the fall of that empire when Trantor became somewhat of a myth. Rimworld then mimics the Outer Rim where Terminus resides.

It's always the worst shooter who takes down the enemy you don't want to down.
