ОтветитьThis is an excellent video! I particularly enjoyed the exercise where you bring the leg closer to the foot and close the angle. I was curious about using a slant board for this exercise. Would you recommend it? Additionally, are there any options for less bulky braces that can be worn with sandals or slip-ons? Can you also provide information on taping techniques for sports like jogging and pickleball, as well as different types of electronic devices and their pros and cons? I'm also interested in your thoughts on dry needling with electrodes. How long does it take for nerves to regenerate? What does nerve growth feel like, and how can I aid the healing process? When do you know that your nerves have improved as much as they can? Are there any surgical options available, and how can you prevent drop feet?
Lastly, I'm trying to stay positive and curious about axon regeneration. If axons regenerate about 1 mm per day, does the distance that needs to be healed multiplied by 1 mm equal the time it takes to heal? If this is true, would shorter individuals heal faster overall?
I have been watching many foot drop exercises and to be honest am not able to do most of them due to the fact that I just can't lift my foot up. Am confused with those exercises, it says they are for foot drop but how you can do them when your feet are like jelly, 1st 2 exercises are not achievable.

ОтветитьFoot drop is minimal, have sleeping big toe, so get foot slap as big toe is not engaged. Muscle that controls big toe from the calf has wasted, so have 2 things to work on. Pointing the entire foot seems to help.

ОтветитьHey, my father is unable to do all these exercises. In the sheet of paper sliding one, he can slide it in front not backwards. And In the last exercise to stand up while your non-affected leg being elivated, he tries standing up but only bu keeping his non-affected hand on bed(on which he is sitting) and not on the knee. Is it some serious foot drop? Should we do the exercises that way only? Or is there any easy thing to practice? Please help.😢
ОтветитьFrom what you have said, I think I suffer from severe spasticity in my ankle from a knee injury. (I fell down a flight of concrete stairs) I’m mild most of the time but out of no where it can become severe and I can’t walk. Is there anything that can be done to fix the damage? I’m awaiting nerve specialists to look at my leg
ОтветитьI recently had a tumor that was wrapped around the major nerves in the right side of my body. I am a mother of seven kids and I am very active yet after the surgery yet after the surgery I'm barely able to walk again.
