The arguments of "Internet specialists" about fuel efficiency, technical characteristics, etc. are very funny. 1. Has anyone seen the protocols of comparative tests of aircraft from different manufacturers? 2. Do you expect the truth from biased officials? 3. How have airfare prices changed over the past 25 years? Have they decreased? If the efficiency of the engines is higher, then prices should have decreased. 4. What about the prices of aircraft from various manufacturers and the cost of maintenance? If efficiency has increased (presumably), but the prices of airplanes and their services have increased, then what joy is there for the consumer?

Unfortunately the plane was developed in late USSR, so the time between mid-80s and mid-00s was lost due to deindustrialisation, which followed after the collapse of the union

Now they have no choice but make their own for their own use. The tu-214 and sukohoi super jet has restarted production same with the IL-96. Because before the sanctions, even russian airlines are buying western made aircrafts.

It’s good , I filed on Il 96 from SVO to capital Armenia, was very comfortable, silent and spacey . The inside interior tose time Hase the standard of the 60 ties .
