If you guys have any questions, comment it below :)
ОтветитьRun welded diff also no issue at all
Ответитьthis is your sign to just weld that shit man, it’s worth it :)
ОтветитьSeems like one you can lock and unlock would be preferable
ОтветитьI run 225 😅no longer just cuz I wanna help my axle no other reason
Ответитьseems the only downside is you have to become a tire buyer all of the time.
ОтветитьHonestly when I welded the diff on my e46 i didn’t even notice a difference in daily driving ....but it slides super easy now best DIY I’ve done on the car 💯
ОтветитьU only weld ur diff if ur making a drift car that ur Gona take to the track and ppl that daily it go to takeovers cus think abt it
ОтветитьWelded my diff yesterday 💕 can't wait for the first rain :P (E36 1.6 😂)
ОтветитьJust broke minee🤣 today
ОтветитьIf It’s raining and I end up sliding fug it dude I had some pretty slick tires for a bit; hit a little mud on the road, turn at the light; enjoy the show folks cause here goes tht rear end 🤣
ОтветитьAnti roll bar and lower arm bar support. Eliminates axel problem.
Ответитьbreaking axles only happens if the rear end is already weak. solid rear ford falcons just dont care
Ответитьi daily drove a weld for ages. the turning circle isnt that much worse
Ответить2000 miles and its that bad?!
ОтветитьThe only time a locker rear diff is a real concern is on low traction situations like in the rain or ice. Otherwise it's not hardly any different than a normal rear diff
Ответитьhow do you know when you broke an axle? Jack in up and then spin one rear tire and see if the other spins?
ОтветитьI ran welded diffs for years the only issue is it can get squirmy on tight turns in the rain if you were not paying attention.
ОтветитьI’ve got a 92 chevy s10 with a welded diff and a 350 v8 am I gonna have a problem with handling
ОтветитьBruh so your telling me every time you gotta change your oil you have to change your tires too? My tires last me waaaaayy longer
ОтветитьA Real Limited slip differential is the way to go, costs much less in the end of the day
ОтветитьDon’t use high tread, off-road tires. Welded diff may help off-road but on road, you’re bound to blow the rear daily driving
Ответитьno way back in 1989 my friend only 20 years old almost 21 years old i knew him in high school got killed in a 64 chevelle going around 65 miles per hour on a hiway it started to hail he spun out into oncoming traffic got killed,, his friend welded his rearend togeather, of corse depends how good the tires are and other cericmstances personally i would never weld any rear ends togeather
ОтветитьHe was on his knees the whole video just goes to show why he has so many complaints 🤦🏽♂️
ОтветитьWhat wheels are those?
ОтветитьHow to crash when it's raining 101
ОтветитьVery well presented video with all the facts and video evidence. Appreciate the advice
ОтветитьHow is it to drive in highway in the rain?
ОтветитьSoCal sidewayz sticker? Used to watch you guys when I was little
ОтветитьWide u turn? Just floor it bruh
Ответитьgreat video
Ответитьits funny how he mentions diffs were 20 buck meanwhile the only 1 i could find is going for 300$ o how times have changed :(
ОтветитьDaily drove my first 86 with a spool for 2 yrs in Nippon. Much love ❤️
ОтветитьIs it safe to drive on a welded diff and how about on the freeway?
ОтветитьThanks a lot for good info!
ОтветитьLooks like a 185 lmao
ОтветитьWelder sales went up after this video.
ОтветитьHow bad would it be if i go welded diff on a slammed static z with 19x11.5 wheels in the rear
ОтветитьThat’s it I’m welding my diff on my wheelchair
ОтветитьIs welding a e46 diff bad?
ОтветитьOh yea I’m definitely welding the diff in my g35
ОтветитьUnder steer and over steer during daily driving through curves and making throttle changes?!
ОтветитьDigging up old videos for research. Lol. I'm hoping to get an fc rx7 this spring and if the one I find has the 4 lug hubs and open diff, I definitely plan on welding it until I get to a 5 lug swap with an lsd. If I manage to find one with an lsd, I won't need to. Lol
ОтветитьIs it dangerous going fast on the highway or freeway?
ОтветитьI drove my welded diff E60 520d daily. To be honest it was fun and didnt cause any troubles, it was hard to do u turns or low speed tight turns, sometimes you have to back it up etc. But it wasn t a big deal, i drove it like 30k km including long trips, never had an issue with it. But it slowed down the acceleration, i didnt measure how much it slowed down but it did. But car changed even in rain the car wants to do what you tell it to, if you want to slide the back it slides, if you want to stay in the line it stays. It was a nice idea to weld it for that car. But many cars gearboxes cant handle that weight so careful, I dont recommend doing this to auto geared e60s. It can cause a lot of problems. Manuel 520d E60 welded dif, no problem in 30k km.
ОтветитьRan a 97 wrangler as a dd for two years. Custom Ford 9 inch, spool, 355 gear. Main thing was needed solid lower arms to handle the torque.
